  1. My mechanical keyboard is probably around 15 years old, the spacebar has a big wear mark, also all the keys which are commonly used have wear marks. It's almost second nature typing on it
  2. That thing looks like a weapon
  3. Hopefully they are more timely then Snap On. My roll cart I ordered 2 weeks ago won't be here for at least 2 more weeks. Please share you pics and thoughts on the quality of the Hazet wrench. I hope my advice proves positive for you. Thankfully it's in stock on a small mom&pop shop but to save shipping costs it's shipped to a location in Germany and from there to here. Anyway, if it's anything like the old 1/4" ratchet I have, it should be the bomb. I will post some thoughts, with pics
  4. If the shipping companies deliver on time, I should be getting new brake pads and brake levers and some old-school cantilever brakes this week. Along with my Hazet torque wrench.
  5. What's the wire for? That is the best part. Nothing. Something used to be connected to it. Was tucked up into the run for the bars so when I cleaned up the wiring I thought it ran somewhere. Wonder if it was OEM, or added for something aftermarket. Either way that's kinda funny, previous owner: "ya I'll just tuck it up right here with a bit of electrical tape around the end and call it good." Just like the old alarm system on my car. Let's just add some jumpers on the plug and call it a day,
  6. These 2 customers couldn't have been timed better though. So it's worth spending time discussing the box designs
  7. MF'er, I ate at 10PM (and a pretty decent meal), I've been speaking to customers for 2 hours and now I'm starving. Time to bust out a yogurt. I blame yesterday's workout for my hunger
  8. Mike, give this a shot: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.reaudio.com They have archives even from 2004, that's where I found parameters for the 05 XXX. These are SX parameters from 2004:
  9. Productive day today: finished up swapping two injectors which had the return nipples broken (and leaked fuel like a mofo, the whole left side of the block is diesel), finished up the electrical issues and found the turbo whine. Turns out the nuts holding the turbo to the manifold worked themselves lose. I suspect that the downpipe was not tightened correctly at some point when the engine had to be idled to warm up for the head torquing procedure and because of that they vibrated lose. Nice and tight now.
  10. v2 and v3 merged in. Thank you !
  11. Nonetheless, I'm back, I know you missed v1
  12. I'd rip some vajayjay right now, even after the action I got last evening
  13. IMO it does not have enough processing power for a CNC. Better just go for a computer-controlled one.
  14. Me neither. But they're tits so I'd do her no questions asked.
  15. You have to post them, the enormous tool has nothing to prove. We should just let this die, the tool won't understand.
  16. Because perhaps you'd like to make your mind up for yourself. Or I could state that more clearly. We understand your type, you have to make it up yourself otherwise you'll make up something else instead. Don't blame Jacob that they are a bad design either. If someone leads a designer down the wrong path and gives him money to do so, I'd personally fault the "leader" And find the info on the Sundown's. They aren't the same otherwise the specs would be the same. If they were the same I seriously doubt even Kevin could screw up typing them up. Ok, perhaps, but at least they would have been measured right. Taking an "almost" T/S parameter set and designing is about as useful as the trial and error method you are so fond of. An even rudimentary understanding of basic algebra would go a really long ways in getting you some useful information. Stuff I learned in 3-4th grade. It isn't rocket science. I suggest trying once. It might do you well. I didn't think there was anyone that retarded in Trinidad. "Designed" is way more appropriate description of picking up a model from the catalog.
  17. You sure are thick, the abominable Skar owner posted specs which did not make any sense, were completely off (just like saying the voice coil was 2" in diameter but 20mm in diameter). No, ur wrong, when a new plane is designed, somebody draws it on a piece of paper, then mindless workers try and try hundreds of versions until they get lucky and one flies. Actually many prototypes (of anything) are built and tested until they get it right, attempted troll fail. I'm not against modelling, I'm just saying it shouldn't be the end all and be the ONLY way one can determine how good a sub is because some socially awkward phaggot sits behind a keyboard and says HEY! this sub is crap because LEAP told me so. I don't know where in science it states that expected results based on a model is always the final and true result, why do people even conduct experiments if they already know the end result? lol. What's the point of trying to prove hypotheses? Guess you all never heard of subjectivity and relativity etc, especially in the car audio where there are many uncontrollable factors to consider at any given point in time. Aaaaand we're basically one step away from saying theory does not apply. What the heck did I post earlier? Obviously we should change your username to numbnuts. If I model a sub and CAN'T obtain the results I want in the space I have, why the fuck would I dream that maybe, just maybe the gods of audio will smile to me it will sound good. Why the fuck couldn't I tell it sucks if it models like crap in what space I have? Really, you are the species which I loathe, you totally push away parameters.
  18. Yes, but I am not sure if the schematic is going to be correct for Euros. I will need to know the engine, transmission, trim (SE, Limited, etc.), 2wd/4wd/AWD. I will need to know the specific system you need the diagram for, as I am willing to bet I will have 150+ pages. If you want information on accessories or optional equipment I will need specifics on those (for example if you want exterior lighting I will need to know if they are auto headlamps with DRL, or stereo diagrams I'll need to know if it has a premium system, etc). THANK YOU. Fortunately I fixed everything, the problem was caused by a jumper in the old alarm brain plug. So I don't need the schematic anymore :)/> The people who installed the alarm worked very nice. They took out the wires with pins from the ignition switch plug, put them in a new plug, ran the wires to the brain. Then connected other wires, with original pins in the ignition switch and wired those to the brain. The alarm would cut off fuel, power to the dash and starter motor. Had the starter motor jumper gone south, it would have been a major headache to find out the problem. Now it's all back to stock.
  19. That makes us 3 with account problems: You, Quentin and me.
  20. And you have no power here Same as me
  21. You stole Ryan's avatar and location...
  22. How about you make like a tree and leave?
  23. Because we don't need to. Just like I don't need to drive a dodge caravan to know it's not going to be fast. Why do I know that? Because I can look at the drive train specifications of the vehicle. Did you or did you not click on the links i posted? Are you just choosing to ignore facts that prove Kevin incompetent? When he gets called out on parameters it's because they are physically impossible. Do you understand that? Not too good for Skar, but too good for science. Do you understand why he would do that? Because he understands that the real specifications are unimpressive, but doesn't understand enough to even make them seem better without defying physics. Screw all the other deceit, that alone should be plenty to convince you. And it's recent; within the past 6 months. I'm done feeding the troll. Whether you're too proud, ignorant, or amused to admit it, the logic is there. He's just defending his brand and covering up his lack of knowledge. Pretty soon some of his friends will come posting that he is actually extremely knowledgeable, in fact even smarter than the whole board combined. That's why he says modeling speakers is useless. Ok, and he's going to say theory doesn't apply in practice.
  24. No, ur wrong, when a new plane is designed, somebody draws it on a piece of paper, then mindless workers try and try hundreds of versions until they get lucky and one flies.
  25. It's absolutely typical for somebody who sells and has not got a single clue on how things actually work. I see it daily with the local DD dealer. "T/S params are worthless, we can recommend a box and the only way to get a box for DD's right is to test several boxes". Then they flash around their results (which were obtained with only one model speaker through countless boxes) and thus they are right. Which is completely off, they still have no clue on what T/S params mean and how to model a speaker.
