  1. Eastern Europeans are physically incapable of processing whiskey; they can only properly process vodka. That's what I'm trying next.
  2. Did 2 sets of power squats with 200 lbs yesterday. My legs are DEAD today.
  3. It's already been done in Wranglers: http://www.hpamotors...com/tdijeep.htm Legal issues are my only concern. It would put me in a lower tax and insurance bracket, which would negate the cost of the engine in a few years. And in a better pollution bracket. I think it would be a great swap. I know people with well over 300k miles on those engines without a single problem. And they lived happily in VW minivans (same curb weight as the Jeep), which were popular among the groups carrying people to and from Romania to different countries. Miles and miles, fully loaded and whaled on. 6.2 ford. It puts out less carbons than a fiat 500. Must be better than the little VW black smoke maker. I wish. With taxes here, I would end up paying the full price of the Jeep in taxes in 2-3 years with such a big engine. Had taxes been lower I would have been driving a 4.0 a long time ago. My only chance would be a truck. But taxes are on the rise for those too.
  4. Merry Christmas ! I'm never drinking whiskey again. My stomach is done for. I slept 5 hours and now I have to go to a family reunion. What's the problem with these people ? If they don't have any schedule it doesn't mean that everybody is like that I would rather sleep. Or watch a movie.

  6. Looks like after the turbo seals started leaking, the overflow bottle is overflowing and puking out coolant. No bueno If I can get a 1.9 TDI swap to be 100% road legal, then that's my summer project. Hello 200 HP and 350 lbs/ft.
  7. Booo
  8. I still have boost. Car runs fine, EGTs normal. So my only theory is the oil seal on the exhaust side is leaky. Exhaust reeks of burnt oil.
  9. Turbo seals are on their way out. Blue smoke at idle, no smoke when driving. Couldn't this have waited until summer, so I would have upgraded the turbo ? At least the rebuild kit is cheap
  10. Lol I'm 6'3 and 360lbs. I'm a bigger fella. My football gloves were xxxl's. Is that you in the avatar pic ?
  11. At the gymI don't wear any socks and I have shoes with very thin soles. Must have been using these shoes indoor only since high-school. Only for gym and sports.
  12. Mmmmm....Old School goodness. You must've been a very good boy for Santa to bring you that! As we have a saying here, one hand washes the other. I couldn't get away with working on the Passat install for free, so I obliged to this instead of cash. Long story short, it was better for both parts
  13. It has the D200HC (or D300HC) case but it's the least of concerns.
  14. I forgot to link it.
  15. Christmas gift from a friend arrived today: Mmats LM2125. Should to well on the Fostex's, plenty of headroom and separate L/R gain. It will allow me to use the 4 channel Eclipse on the Extremis, 150w @ 8, woohoo midbass
  16. I'm eying up the Nexus One, probably going to be my first venture into smartphones. Any reason you are favoring the Nexus One? Could you do the Droid Milestone or Nexus S? Budget, I guess I really don't want to spend more than $120 on a phone.

  18. In my humble opinion it's from their best album. On slow evenings I would just listen to Discovery start to finish and it really put me in a good mood.
  19. Bryci. It even says on the bottom right corner of the pic
  20. I was the same when it snowed and I went by bike. Obviously not even close to as much fun with a snowmobile.
  21. Grapefruit, that's it. I need some grapefruit. My head is spinning, no headache after tequila and Jaeger shots, surprisingly.
  22. Indeed !
  23. The behavior is exactly opposite to a petrol engine. Too much fuel = high exhaust gas temperature = molten stuff.
  24. Offer sent on a black Zapco AG650. It would match my AG750 perfectly and would be excellent for midbass and fullrange duty. With 4 channels bridged the Extremis will sing. I have been watching and waiting for a multi-channel Zapco for too long. This has to pan out.
