  1. are you going to follow me to Lebanon and compete ??
  2. Don't tear it up before I get up there to demo it next month ...
  3. I've been told that all amps need to be "Warmed Up" before maximum performance ... Could be just hear say, not sure ...
  4. Thats cool bro ... I just suggested that because there was a MAJOR difference between my vented (to the outside of the truck) kick pannels and my sealed and deadened doors ... Drivers came more "alive" tonaly and seemed to handle more power ... I made my comparison with those Exodus drivers in both locations along with the drivers I have in there now ... There may not be much difference between your doors and your kicks ... Every vehicle is different. Only one way to find out, Trial and error ...
  5. Just before Blues rolled out their new drivers, I bought a pair of Exodus 6.5s and a pair of Shiva 12s ... The 6.5s will work in a sealed as tight as possible door ... Id be willing to bet on it !!! and I'd also be willing to bet that those drivers will work "full range" in that application too ... I'm not saying to blast rap music to them like that, but great SQ listening music, you'd be suprised my friend ... I had some long talks to the owner of Exodus when I came back into competition ... More than likely, leave them full range on the top end and cut them off at 40 to 70 htz on the low end ... depending on what music you listen too ...
  6. Could do something like this ... just a suggestion ...
  7. Best of luck Sir !!! Get to work !!!
  8. one word ... "Bromo" look him up ...
  9. Awesome Vid my GMT400 brother !!!
  10. did you try the tweeters higher ?? like in the middle of the a-pillar ??
  11. should work fine ... been done before if thats the positive lead, you might want to put some small shrinkboot on there ...
  12. was the stage and image higher than your origional setup ??
  13. I would never install or suggest a midrange driver to go in the kick pannel ... The idea for a stage and image is to be up and out on your hood ... Correct ?? and width to seem to be as it was beyond the a-pillars ?? Can't wait to hear what stefanhinote has to say after this test ...
  14. Besides, half way up the a-pillars, isn't that ear level in a normal driving position (give or take a few inches)
  15. I never said that (2600htz). Would be a final setting ... I wasn't done explaining my idea of the setup ... But this was a trial tuning (with no other drivers) to set the stage ...
  16. Yes ... This will set your stage, give you width and height Once your tone is correct with aiming ... Then you can time align to the center and keep your width at the same time
  17. Take your tweeters and temporary mount them (with tape or something) half way up on your a-pillars, aim them at each other slightly angled above your center point in your winshield ... Actively cross them at 2600 htz, and come back and tell me what you think ...
  18. Get to it bro !!!
  19. I would get smaller tweeters and mount them in the a-pillars to start off with a eye-level sound stage and go from there ... Yes, install the mid drivers in the doors ... And do not use the kicks unless there is no other option ... I thought those kicks you made (looked great but ...) was taking up too much leg room ...
  20. got alot of my lights (mainly the dash cluster and cabin lights) swapped out with LEDS ... they are Awesome ...
  21. your heater / evaporator core is not leaking ???

  23. I would have moved this thread for you ... but ...
