  1. It really will be fine, no o-scope needed, a little gain matching and he's golden. BTL's handle huge amounts of power. They will be reading a 1.7 ohm DCR per amplifier, and since they aren't strapped the amps won't go into protect, they are also Slash series amplifiers they will deliver 1 Kw between 1.5 and 4 ohms I was refering to the BTL's ... not the amps ...
  2. how well do they handle impedeance mis/mix matchs ???
  3. amp balancing without a o-scope willl get close ... but one mistake with the screwdriver or someone changes things without the op knowing, POOF !!! there goes the sub ... my reason for my suggestion ...
  4. Oh shit... i'd hate my life if you beat me using that system lol Good job Great guy !!! Was an Awesome car ...
  5. Personally, I'd save my money to get an adequate amp(s) for my application and not blow my sub up by temping something together just to get by ... just my suggestion ... thanks ...
  6. Awesome Vids !!!
  7. you are lookig at msrp prices bro ... not retail ... Call Ray for real prices if interested. Click on the Linear Power link on my sig for TIPS number ... Thanks, Randal ...
  8. Well, now that time has gone by they have beat most all of the other high(er) dollar equipment, and took 8 awards and two world titles home from Finals, and all without a piece of time alignment nor processing to make them perform perfectly. All of these guys systems are running less than 5000 or 6000 dollar systems and beating systems that cost 6 to 12 times that much to build. I think that says plenty about the quality of speaker you are buying and that the price is not too high. Team Linear / Blues did not make this comment ... Please do not bash us ... We are letting the equipment speak for it self ... Thank you people that have heard our systems for giving us your oppinions ... Neither Impious or I bashed anything other than the people who claim that the stuff that wins a competition is the best. That comment is absurd. As for letting the equipment speak for itself, I gave you the right way to do that here: Sounds good to me bro ... I'm just saying that this guy "whodat" started this and brought this thread back to life ... It was not Team Linear / Blues ... We are just having fun by demoing and competing ... hell, I lost my ass this year at finals, but I had alot of fun ...
  9. We are telling people about our product. We are showing and demoing the product at every show / parking lot we can find ... thanks, Randal ...

  11. LOL....wow. Pretty salty. Wish their website had (a lot) more info on it. But those would have to be some pretty spectacular pieces of equipment to support those prices, considering they're priced up there with some of the best performing speakers on the planet. Wait until you settle your ears on the new 5.25 component set ... Astonishing !!! Absolutely breathtaking !!! I have definately figured out my plans for my home theatre setup ...
  12. A great sounding system (loud and clear) with plenty of bass is what you are looking for (i think). Most "Sound Quality" people doesn't want their vehicle shaken apart by large amounts of bass ... Most Sound Quality judging consist of detailed installation, vehicle condition, Sound - staging, imageing, clarity, and reproduction of music (most vehicles you cannot tell where the drivers are located in the vehicle), RTA, and of course SPL readings (most know what their vehicle will do and will only push their system when needed to beat the competition) ...
  13. Looking Awesome Bro !!! I wish I could see it at some shows !!!
  14. I'd like to see pics of this ride ... Depends on what this guy has invested in this ride to tell whether or not you would want to put (cheap shit) in it and call it your install ... just my suggestion ...
