I'm asking a question here. ok ... Is the alternator suppost to charge the batteries during or after heavy use? stereo or regular vechicle activities? I'm wondering how it (alternator)can stop voltage drop when its job is to charge the batteries. I have five batteries, 2 in front, 3 in rear, on a 200 amp alt. Over a year with no problems. I'm asking this because it might help the op to understand his problem. Plus I would like to the way this works. I'm an electronics tech. but I'm kinda drawing a blank on this one for some reason. Can somebody please help?

My personal best with my truck is 137.7 at 32htz with 2 Exodus Shiva 12s (8 ohm mono)in the old box. New box best is 136.4 at 28 htz. Thats with a pair of Iso-Kit 10s(8 ohm mono). DBs went down, BUT sounds ALOT better for SQ. I'm very happy with that. Maybe in another life I'll get me a vehicle that will do a 150 or better. My Boys want me to build them a ground pounder. I told them they need to get them a job and SHOW ME THE MONEY !!

extended cab i'm guessing. 2 12s will not fit under 4 door seats. I had to cut my wall with a bedcover to get the output I needed. You could get rid of the back seats. just a suggestion.

what year silverado? what size l7s?
