  1. Chevy 1500 series truck, upgraded to 2500 series (stock for diesel) - 2 batteries, 200 amp gm alternator, 3 Alfa Gell Cell batteries in rear, about 750 watts rms. Gains set to bare minimum for maximum headroom and Sound Quality. 1awg / 2awg welding cable for power and grounds.
  2. Very Top Notch Work !!! I'd really like to se the Sound Quality Stuff ...
  3. Straight SPL competition ??? Street beat ??? Power Class ??? These things Will make a VERY big difference in determining tuning frequency.
  4. WOW !! very nice ...
  5. It took more than just amplifier power to make that number ... I was there. 181.8 - 10/16/09 2009 uasci / db drag world finals, tulsa, ok. Those vehicles were WAY modified for that competition. The average vehicle will not make nowhere that number, no mater what kind of amp you use. I missed SBN ... truck broke ...
  6. welcome ... nice ride ...
  7. looks like it going to be LOUD !!!
  8. ok... my bad ... you do have a center console. You might try a box in the center and a amp rack under the rear seat. just a suggestion to sound good and save room. If you get a chance, Come to Top Dollar Pawn Shop in Jackson for a USACI competition on March 27th. A friend of mine will be there with his Chevy. It has a box in the center built like a console. That thing sounds GREAT !!!
  9. I had 2 10s under my rear seat of my 97. Just wasn't what I wanted but they sounded ok. I got a great deal on a fiberglass bed cover, So I cut my wall. That made a world of difference to me. I've also seen 2 downfiring 12s under that seat. Sounded great. I can't tell. do you have buckett seats with a center console ?? I've see alot of trucks with a box (1 12)in the center console. They sound great with minimal change to the truck.
  10. Excellent work sir. Very clean and detailed. Sorry about your loss.
  11. I definately know "shit happens" my truck broke down the other day. It was not cool. Best of luck with you build. Great work so far.
  12. 6appeal, your checking things out with the wrong eye sir ... lol ... just kidding. According to the measuring tape, they are the same. these are just sitting there not bolted down. They should straighten up. The baffles and pedistals are larger than the others. The material is alot thicker too. Should get a little more "kick" out of them ... yes, a-pillars and kick pannels are the original pannels with extra stuff on them. I'm not good at computer skills so I don't know how to make the pictures bigger. Can someone tell me how to set them up?? They are comming from my cardomain site.
  13. Cool Guys, Back to the truck ... Got the kick pannels together and test fitted. ... ... ... Got them wraped for resin but don't have acess to dig cam. (forgot to buy a paintbrush). Have everything up this weekend. thanks ...
  14. I have the same Pioneer headunit. It works great. Hope you enjoy yours. keep up the good work. Very nice install.
  15. The USACI rules state that the vehicle has to be driven to the lanes (by the kid). Perform just like a regular vehicle. Then driven back to the parking area. mike goes in to the passenger floor board area just like any competition vehicle. Stock electrical system (stereo not included). 5 batteries(I think) 4 for amps and 1 for vehicle. 14.4v system on amps. 12v for vehicle. Vechicle is very heavy but can be driven just like any power wheels. This vehicle won first place at the finals in her class and is a World Record holder in her class. MINI MSX SPL / USACI.
  16. ... The meter was a termlab. Eddie, Mike, and Ray are the mesterminds behind this system.
  17. yea, that thing is neat to watch ... ... I will not say another thing about competition again on this forum. Is it ok if I keep my signature updated if I get lucky and win anymore?
  18. I do not use amp gains if thats what your asking.
  19. yes sir. right at about 200w per channel.
