Addiction sucks.
Those are some of the best testamonies i've ever read. Me and my wife had a gambling addition years ago. It took alot away from us and a very long time to get over it. We know the feeling. Me and my family have you and yours in our prairs if you need us ... thank you ... Best of luck to you all ...

Nocturnal =/
I have the same problem sir. Thats why I work Midnite to 09:00 am. When I worked dayshift, I never slept good. I blacked out my room, wife is at work, kids at school, and I can sleep alot better during the day. Guess you could say that I'm a nightowl ...

bigrank916 MLI-65 project
Man I like that 2-tone color of your truck. When I get mine repainted, It will stay 2-toned too. Those are some killer door pods sir. Very Clean install. You going to put anything into the kicks? Do you still use your dash speaker locations? I guess I'm just wondering beacuse my truck was hard to stage correctly.

How do you guys crimp larger ring terminals?
All my cables are actually welding cable. Once I measured and cut them to the lengths I needed, I took them back to the welding shop. They installed the connectors and crimped / welded them together (i'm not exactly shure how they done it). All I had to do was shrink boot them. They worked great for me.

EQ Selection and question
hey smashedz28 ... in all its your system ... you fix it the way you want it, not the way other people think ... its your ride ... my suggestion, hit up a couple of local shows and listen to other peoples rides and find the sound you like ... thats the person that might be able to help you ... or at least point you in the right direction ... if not ... call Robert Rayfield at TIPS / Linear power at 601-939-8477 ... tell him Randal sent you ... He should be able to help you out ... if not, he definately knows people who can ...

well, maybe if I gain a regional or world title in both divisions ... then there will not be any doubt in my truck ... or my audio skills ... guess I just have stuff to prove to myself ... just got to go about it with out killing my truck ... the way it looks in this forum / if you don't compete and win, you don't have bragging rights ...
-
EQ Selection and question
I know that sir ... the PA2 belongs to Tips / Linear Power ... I was just helping a friend out ... Sir you don't have to bash me for everything I say ... besides a Linear Power PA2 audiopath speaks for itself ...

new set-up over q's...suggestions
I agree with you sir ... thats why I said "most" on that part ... you (like me) have plenty of room for that specific enclosure to make it work ... same for TJ's truck on my cardomain site ... you got to find the "good ones" ...
-
new set-up over q's...suggestions
I can't tell what kind of vehicle you have ... i'm assuming you have enough room for 2 15s in a recommended size enclosure ... most 12s sound better (musically) than 15s when tuned to 32 - 38 htz ... just a suggestion here ... you might try 4 12s tuned to 32 htz ... should make the cabin freq. somewhere around 40 htz ... still hit the low notes ... more cone area to create more pressure ... series / paralell (i can't spell) should be close to the same power handeling capabillities ... here again just a suggestion to hit the low notes with considerable ammount more pressure ... I'm mainly sound quality but I have been known to put up a few big numbers back in the day ... if you look on page 2 of my cardomain site, my friend TJ has a quarter wave wall style enclosure ... tuned for pressure ... 54 htz i think ... actually plays some very decent low notes ... check it out ... again please, just a suggestion sir ... thanks

I don't understand this forum guys ... the registration stuff plainly says No Bashing people and have pissing matches over product ... Thats all i've gotten since i've been here ... As with most people ... I don't have much money but Sound Quality and Sport trucks is my favorite sports and im very proud of my accomplishments so far ... The products in my truck has made me a Champion and when I brag a little, I get bashed ... Just ain't fun for me ... sorry guys ... Maybe it will get better ... Anyway, I enjoy competing and i think this will be a good year for me ... but i have alot of work left to do to my truck ... never ending project you know ... guess i won't be giving any more suggetions on this forum ... I mean, what do I know, I'm a Sound Quality Regional Champion and a World Finalist just in my first year of competing ... Hopefully this year I'll prove to my self to be a 2010 world Champion in Sound Quality ... we will see ...

8" in the doors.
What ever guys ... who cares ... I'll be competing this year ... Usaci Sound Quality, modified SQ+ class, Sound Q, and Street Beat 2 ... hope to see you in the lanes ... if you are competing in higher classes than me, then you already know your system is better than mine ... if you dont compete against me, then we will never know, will we ?? see you in the lanes ... put up or shut up !!

this thread was talkin about midbass drivers in the doors or kick pannels ... not spl subs ... I don't compete in SPL ... you wouldn't put a "sub" sytle driver in the door or kick pannel because of too much vibration and too much bass instead of a blend of music ... you just want to be "loud", do what you want ... You want pure Sound Quality ... then let's talk ...
-

for the record ... I'm talkin Sound Qualty midbass drivers only people ... I do not do SPL ... I placed top 5 in Sound Quality World Finals ... not SPL people ...
