  1. Why can't you put the enclosure in the bed ?? Bed dancer setup ??? Miss those mini truck days !!!
  2. Strange. The last pair of 8" Beymas I heard got down and dirty on midbass. But then again, they were dedicated midbass application.
  3. In my years of competition, I've found it best to go with multiple 2 channel Amplifiers. Just a thought.
  4. I'm good with my 9980. It's a great source unit and seems to work great with flash drives playing music videos. I really want a new laptop, Helix Pro, and a termlab (SPL and RTA). Then I will be VERY tempted to bump up to an 8, 4, and tweet in the F150 !!! Damn at the money I just spent in my head ????????
  5. Yea, guess I'm a little behind the 8 ball on head unit technology. Guess I need to start reading up huh ??? I'm definitely tuned in on what you come up with on this. I said I wasn't going balls to the wall with the F150, but then again, I love my music !!!
  6. HDMI input ??? Wow !!!
  7. Welcome to SSA. Personally, I'd choose SSA Drivers over Sundown any day. Nothing against Sundown, just personal preference.
  8. Welcome to SSA
  9. Happy Birthday
  10. What makes you think you need a sealed enclosure for Sound Quality ???
  11. Welcome to SSA. Good luck with your search ???
  12. Just went to pick her up and she sounds Good !!! Old School !!! Pics soon. Too late for them now. LOL
  13. Masterbend is done with my truck. It's dual'd out !!! Too bad I'm out of town to go pick it up. It will be late tonight to go get it.
  14. When I was in Europe, it was all about economy. Most "street cars" had hoped up 4 bangers. One in particular was the Ford Escort GT. I drove a sharp looking Fiat hatch. Didn't know much about them, but it would go on those very curvy roads around Lakenheath and Mildenhall (cities close to the Air Force Base). So if I had to guess European ??? Didn't know of anything front wheel drive making that kind of horse power.
  15. Not knocking you brother, it's just I know how people are about their horses. In my line of work, if you open a compartment wrong, you bought it. Just saying the reward is not worth the trouble when it comes to motor cycles. Trust me, we have ALOT of them around here. Just watching out for ya Brother.
  16. I'd refer him to an lisensed and bonded audio shop just in case there is any problems and you wouldn't be liable if something tore up on the bike. There's a reason why audio shops charge ALOT to work on bikes. Just saying. Good luck my friend.
  17. You don't need tools to set Cross over slopes, just a good knowledge of car audio. Meaning knowing the difference between a tweeter, midrange, midbass, and sub bass frequency application. Just saying.
  18. Very nice setup Brother. Specifics are nice, but in all, it's all about the human ear. Wish I could hear it !!!
  19. Way to wake up a two year old thread guys.
  20. Welcome back my friend. Nice Ride !!!
  21. The cats are going bad anyways, and it would be more expensive to put it back stock. So I might as well built it like I want and be done with it. Can't wait to hear how it sounds !!! I love a bad ass dual exhaust setup !!!
  22. Small update. No anything audio sad to say, but this truck will be getting a full, true, NO cats, dual exhaust setup Tuesday !!! Yanking the old exhaust setup off this weekend. It has the 4.6 V8 so I'm kinda limited to 2 1/4" pipes. It should make a nice deep tone like a Ford should. Going with a nice free flow mufler setup. Don't want it to be too loud. Just sound like it has a pair !!! I will be taking pics of this !!!
