  1. Only one way to find out. Raplace them if they will fit without major modification.
  2. Tulsa ?? You can go over to Car Toys and let them hook you up ??
  3. Without schematics (think I spelled that correctly), I have nothing to reference it to.
  4. LOL Awesome Vid Andrew
  5. rare to find one of these, let alone a BelAir 4 door. Very cool Ride
  6. Welcome to SSA
  7. Might be a better idea to install a second battery near the amplifiers before installing a stronger alternator. just a suggestion yo
  8. Is there a second battery near the amplifiers ? First thing I woud do is reinstall the origional Alternator and verify all ground locations are good and see if the problem goes away since that's the only thing (from what you are telling us) that has been done to the vehicle.
  9. wait, you're not going? WTF Wish i could, but I'm droping every dime I can find into the 49 Ford. Maybe next year.
  10. I have no FaceBook to leave comments, But I was able to view the page. Nice looking Driver
  11. I would love to run my amplifiers at 14.4 volts, but I do not want to put the rest of my car through that punishment and have to change up my alternator configuration. Atleast not at this time. IF I can get that Dakota Digital dash pod I've been drooling over lately, it might be an option to run 2 8 volt and 2 6 volt batteries. But for now, I will just stick to 4 walmart batteries in the trunk.
  12. Nice Ride
  13. Geez, I miss the days when one could see just how many 15s or 18s you could cram into a vehicle !!!
  14. Do a wall with a pair of 10s and knock out a 160 and blow people's minds. Something you don't see much of.
  15. Another typical derailed SSA thread. Chill out guys. To the OP. That is a well used amplifier in the car audio world. Holds up great in everyday use and in competition if set up and used correctly. Hope this helps.
  16. More detailed bass response with better Equalization and crossover capabilities ?? Sure you should be able to tell the difference if the rest of the system is up to par with the headunit. But if you are simply looking for "balls to the Wall" more output ?? No, don't think you will see any difference. You may want to look into stronger amplication / battery power for that. increasing pre-out voltage will not help you get "better Bass" My Kenwood 9980 (at the time of pruchase, one of the best on the market) only had a max of 4 volts output. Best of luck with your search on this.
  17. Dang. Wish I could go to Slamology.
