And as if I do not have enough projects going on at the same time ... I am in the process of installing HID Projectors in my headlights from Hyper Lights !!! Anyone care to see progress pics ??? ... and Its looking like I will be in the Hyper Lights / Bass Mekanik Demo / Manufacturer's booth next year at SBN ... So I'm being told Sound Quality vehicle in the Bass Mekanik booth ... Could be interesting !!! and so we are clear, I have permission to promote Linear Power / Blues Car Audio in this Demo / Manufacturer's booth since they do not build Audio Equipment and Mike from Hyper Lights is also a member of Team Linear Power / Blues Car Audio ...

PAINTED !!! I will take better pics with the Digi-Cam as soon as possible ... Got to give her a week or two before we can cut and buff it ... but should be nice and shiny for World Finals !!! Also ... Got those shitty low profile back tires replaced with some real tires this weekend ... going to go with a larger tire up front, but can't go too large like the rear because they will scrub ...

What are you running now ?? And how is it installed ?? Head unit ?? Drivers ?? Amplified ??

Nothing crazy, but I am thinking IA comps and coxals to replace the stock speakers. Then for sub maybe another DCON all powered by Sundown. Nice !!!

Just based on what I have demod in the field ... If I ever go back to larger SPL drivers, It will have SSA on it somewhere !!! Just saying ...

Then I would def. get your upgraded alternator and Big 3 done first ...

both ... but I'd start out with the alternator because the stock one might have troubles charging the new battery bank ... and I'd stick with 3 batteries if possible. Just my suggestions here brother !!!

If the amp is running at idle while everything else is off, it would be slowly draining your battery. and when you jam with it with the ignition off, it's just making it worse on your battery. I would get this checked and atleast and make sure that this is not causing your problems ...

is the amplifier turning on and off with the headunit ??

Is this the majority part of your system ... all you have is mids in your setup ??

I second the nx702. It seems to be the only full active dd from all the research I've done. I have a dnx9990hd and want to make the switch myself, but I can't justify because I have one issue and it is the ability to turn volume up and down fast when you want to roll in to burps. The Kenwood is so slow I hate it for that one reason. It's not because it's Kenwood though since my 996 single din has no issues. I assume it's just hardware/software related. The Kenwood does have signs of active as you can set curves and cutoffs on 1 end of spectrum though. Yea, My Kenwood runs on the slower side too, which suits me perfectly cause I seem to run the same way these days ... LOL If these units had better crossover capabilities, It would be alot easier to work with. Cause I'm having to run an external active electronic crossover on my mid bass drivers to chop off the top end (the Linear Power XO2) ...
