Sounds like UPS is skimpin on the online shipping notifications UPS did the same thing half a year ago with my bl 10. idk why, but thats why i was just patient. you really cant rush things by posting everyday that its not at your house. not going to make things faster.

and not to answer my own question, but im kind of leaning towards aluminum.

so if i was to pick a top winner should i go with... stainless, zinc, brass, or aluminum? thank you all for your input!

i know there are those terminals you can buy from parts express that are pretty nice, but after shipping its like 20 bucks to my area. couldn't i just get some bolts at a general hardware store? i know this question has been asked, but every post i see there is not much about if its ok to do and what material bolts should i look into. all i need are bolts for my wiring and my box should be done!! lemme know what you guys think! thanks!

yea i was shocked to see the box on my porch. i figured i had a week or atleast two weeks. lol. no complaints though. way to go Fi! but figured i would let you guys know.

i got back from vacation today and my Bl 15 arrived! arrived a lot sooner then expected due to the back ordering that Fi was going through. so im very happy about that!! went with chrome blue this time to have something different. lol got the baffle ready all glued up and drying for the double baffle to get put on tomorrow!

ordered mine march 23rd. just got back from vacation and look what was on my door step still thank god! my bl 15 arrived!! wooo! must have been there a day. good thing the UPS guy put it in a good area so people cant see it. very happy for my second Fi sub!! great job Fi!!

thanks man! yes i plan on carpeting the box. i guess i wasnt thinking about the carpet when i screwed the ports in... hmm. i guess i shall work the carpet around the ports then. haha

well i got the aero ports on today just still need to add a bit more sealant and they should be good! made half the double baffle too. getting the ports aligned to where i wanted them.. they were being a pain so i taped them down better i made a little "step" for the ports to slightly rest on to prevent to much flex.. heres the little "step" lol.. made my three cut outs for the aero ports. was kind of difficult getting to the back cut outs, but it worked out.. Ill be gluing these on later this week.. as well as getting to the double baffle cut out.. and look what the mail man dropped off today! lol seems all is coming nice! i have A LOT of sanding ahead of me! so dont give me to much smack about the messy sealant. lol

i had a post earlier about this when i planned on making my sub box. however... i made the box bigger to 5 CuFt now and im curious if i could still be ok with (3) 4" aero ports instead of ordering up one more? :thanx:

the wood i would use is VERY durable and heavy. send me a picture of the box your mentioning RX. and thanks shizzon for what u posted!! i think it wouldnt be to bad to use plywood. im kinda second guessing it tho...

got more dowels in today. my (3) 4" aero ports arrived the other day as well! getting closer! post pics later tomorrow! should have my second baffle ready tomorrow too

i just finished my 5 CuFt box for my fi bl 15 and i used just about every square inch of my MDF wood i had for the box. my question is if its ok to use 3/4 inch plywood for my second baffle? i have a bunch lying around and would be nice instead of buying a huge sheet of MDF i would barely use. lemme know what u guys think! Thanks!!
