does this sound correct to you?
alrighty. so when it asks me to say the "volume of the box" instead of saying my box is 1.08 cuft i say .92cuft on this site due to sub displacement? ... http://www.psp-inc.com/tools.html thanks!!

that would be cool! i looked into a 4" with http://www.psp-inc.com/tools.html but it wouldnt fit. when i type in my volume for the box on the site do i account displacement of the sub? or just the overall box?

the box is 1.02 cuft total after sub displacement. i have room for a 3inch port with the site telling me "13.06364" in order to get 34hz. is a 3 inch port to big for a 10 inch sub? so what size port would you guys recommend for an Fi bl 10??

ok so i believe my sub box is about 1.08 cuft or very close to that. if i was to add this kit here... http://www.madisound...products_id=711 you think that would fit my application? in order to get 34hz with a single 3" inlet im going to need a "13.06364" long tube. if i got this kit i could cut it to length? what do you think? with a box of that amount of cuft do you guys think i should tune to a different setting aswell? let me know what you think!!

Well im getting closer and closer with more boxes arriving at my door. So far i have my... Fi Bl 10" Fully Loaded my Sundown Audio SAE-1200D V.2 and some Mb Quart PVI 216 Components. getting pretty excited and thanks for all of you who chimed in and helped with the sub and amp questions. all i need is my custom box to be made. (im gonna try to make my own and ill def post pictures. as well as ask questions about that so help will be needed. haha) need to buy lots of 0 gauge wire for my big 3 and for other parts of the installation of course. need to get some second skin or dynamat or whatever i find better when the time comes. as well as maybe some components or just some normal speakers for the rear. here are some pics of what i got so far! Thanks for looking! Ill try to update as fast as i can on everything!

Sundown vs. Fi
just ordered my MB Quart PVI 216 components with adaptors from the 6x8 oem slot to 6.5 sundown sae 1200 amp should be here soon. what i decided to go with was put the sub behind my center console. my old idea with under the seat would have worked, but i thought maybe i can squeeze more room from my new idea. my options are pointing the sub up or towards the ground... i like the idea of them pointing down (of course with 3-4 inches of clearance) just because the sub is kinda hidden and protected from maybe my stupid friends. haha. or even theft. pointing up though ive heard gives u a totally different sound so im kinda worried about that. its a one shot deal so making my mind on the two is important. thanks!

Sundown vs. Fi

Sundown vs. Fi
yes i have looked into it. the box i have now is 1.23 cuft or something. im going to use the same box i have now, but make a ported clone one. im going to have the sub facing forward and raise the seat in the front up with some spacers to have a little bit more of a rake. (which is why i bought a 10) for the amp im going to remove the plastic piece on the back wall and mount it.
