Welcome to the IHoP
Whole foods and shit in a can aren't really on the same page there... Well canned sardines and tuna aren't my entire diet, and I'm sure they're healthier than fritos.

Pix foo!! I took a pic yesterday, but my phone didn't save it. I'll take another in a bit.- Welcome to the IHoP
Well I've def read mixed things on what people gauge low carb as, but I'm defnitely well above that. Lowest carb I've done was still probably 70g back when I didn't drink a ton of milk.- Welcome to the IHoP
Of titties, and everyone be like wtf we talking 'bout? *scratches head*- Welcome to the IHoP
If I wanted to throw someone off I'd just post a picture:- Welcome to the IHoP
I wasn't using that as no motherfucking red herring yo! You just said your method worked for people, and I was simply stating the same. That's why I generally don't even bother with anything anecdotal.- Welcome to the IHoP
Well I basically took root in two base camps: 1) Eating whole foods and not being scared of eating fat. Also limited what type of grains I ate. 2) LeanGains protocol of fasting for 16hours, and having an 8hr window to workout, and eat all my kcal. Originally with my schedule LG was no problem. I could fast for 16 hours. Take some bcaa, do my workout, and eat enough kcal in the window. Then school started and my schedule fucked things up because instead of fasting for 16hours, I'd have to fast for 20hours, and then I'd have a pretty limited time frame to eat all my food. So the "advantages" were no longer advantageous, so it didn't make sense to continue with it. It was never listed as some end all approach, just another method that seemed to work. So now with the new class schedule, I typically eat something light in the morning on my off days (glass of whole milk, sardines, smoked salmon, tuna). Get home at 1pm, and pig out. On workout days I get up a little early, drink some water, eat some grapes or berries, and take my bcaa. Do my workout. Eat some carbs. Go to class, get home at 5, and pig out. So really I don't see much difference with what I'm doing, and what conventional people do aside from different nutrient sources.- Welcome to the IHoP
Anyhow time for bed, going to try fitting a workout in the AM before class.- what else does my box need?
Nothing wrong--just going to take a long time.- Welcome to the IHoP
We will forever be at ends, for better, or for worse my friend.- Welcome to the IHoP
My point is just that, they are selling something. Perhaps not directly through you spending cash on it, but more in the fold the stronger they are. Internet gurus are all that way. Guys on his website probably love Scar audio and have metered 160dbs with music. That doesn't make them the best subwoofer because it can get results does it? You are smarter than that. My point is still that it is fringe and in general not accepted for a reason. Just because some people make it work doesn't make it gold. I get you, but on the flipside just because everyone does something doesn't always make it right.- Welcome to the IHoP
swapping them out for the xcon? I sold the xcons a long time ago. Then had an 18" icon for a while, but didn't play it much. Now I got tired of having that lack of bottom end, so the dcons were perfect. Plus the price was a steal.- Welcome to the IHoP
Of course. I always have. What I am saying is when people, especially people on an audio site who have nothing not even rep for some broscience epeen website, tell you that your aproach is inefficient maybe you should not be defensive. Trod asked you something, and you replied with more questions. It's understandable, I know I give you mountains of shit. Mostly though because I would like to see you succeed as much as you can. You are obviously doing great, but it is in my nature to push people and make them defend what they say. If for no other reason than to strengthen their own resolve. Pluss I might learn something. Pappa bear pays attention. I read all the articles you post hommie. :-D I will just forever be the devil's advocate when it comes to technique, because there is always room for improvement. I will never deny your hard work or results.- Welcome to the IHoP
Also have no idea how much he eats, but the only restriction he has on his diet is timing, not amount per say.- Welcome to the IHoP
Well since you can't prove that, and I can't prove he's drug free then I guess it doesn't mean shit. But even with the regular success stories of average individuals I've seen a lot of inspiring stuff, and it worked for them...- Welcome to the IHoP
But you get my point.- Welcome to the IHoP
Although this isn't much of a success story, but the originator of Lean Gains protocol, and obviously has had some experience playing with what works, and what doesn't.- Welcome to the IHoP
This fucker is jacked, and yet he practices IF.- Welcome to the IHoP
I totally get that, but I can find tons of anecdotal evidence of other people that did what I am / have done and have had stellar results.- Welcome to the IHoP
I know I'm sorta mixing in what I consider healthy and losing weight in with building lean mass, but it's something I'm willing to compromise for.- Welcome to the IHoP
I wasn't meaning anyone specifically. And I do agree that it is a bit silly for me to simply skip the standard, and try something outlandish, but when I've seen success stories and pictures from people who have tried the conventional diet and exercise for losing weight, haven't had success, and then tried this outlandish method, and end up literally shedding fat off, and fixing most of their health problems then I'm sorta sold. This anecdotal stuff in conjunction with the studies that I've read (and that don't have some bullshit extrapolation like it was actually tested on mice, and they just presumed it was the same for humans) has just lead me down a different path. Perhaps good, perhaps not.- "SQL"?
