Laser beams and sharks! Not sure if it was the p250, but I saw a sig at the shop the other day with a cool finish. It had a purple hue, but would change color slightly depending on the angle. I'm sure there's some term for it, but I'm drawing blanks.

At MSRP I would agree they are overpriced. The prices I saw for their customer returned/factory rejects are reasonable, though. The customer return models are given a new lid seal, new latches, and if necessary, new grab handles, so they're practically new, besides a few cosmetic blemishes. They're made with a 0.50" roto-molded polyurethane outer shell, 2.00" inch polyurethane foam core, and 0.50" roto-molded polyurethane inner shell. They field test them by rubbing the outside of the coolers with raw meat, stashing the raw meat inside the coolers, then dropping them off in wooded areas that bears, mountain lions, and other predators are known to inhabi, then come back after a few weeks to pick them up. Lots of claw marks, teeth marks, scrapes and scuffs, but they have never managed to get to the meat inside. That is a good point. I wonder if they put the meat inside, and didn't rub the outside, if animals would still find it. I'm guessing so, but if not then that would be pretty sweet for not attracting animals during camping.

When I think of OP, I think of operator, not original poster. I fucking hate it when OPs ask something, then either get the answer they didn't want to hear and argue about it, or get pissed off because someone gave them a technical answer. Dont impres me dawg, no 1 cares, jus tell me wich will beet down the hood louder.
  4. How would a delay in the signal damage a speaker (even if they shared a common chamber)?

My father has an xd and hk, seems to feel more comfortable with the hk. Sorta funny but I haven't shot either. I sure do like my xdm though.

Know any good articles or books on prone shooting?
  12. ssh replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Not sure if it was because I was shooting close and prone, but the angle was odd on my shoulder. Instead of getting the stock either tucked in the "shoulder pocket", or on top, it was against my clavicle. Either way, I'm going to a range next weekend to do some bench shooting, I want to get it sighted in as good as possible, and at a 100% known range. Today I just milranged 89m where I could get the box in a good spot for los. Pretty fun, and recoil wasn't bad.

I went to San Diego, and I came back with crabs. They itch more then they bite, but hell I'll give them a fight.

You know your still a kid when your selling your vehicle, and using "comes with a h/o alt and extra power wire" as the major selling point.
  19. Glad to hear your happy. For anyone else reading, a 10" model xyz subwoofer will sound the same as an 18" model xyz subwoofer. The only difference will be an increase in displacement (likely output), and perhaps a change in frequency response from the different enclosure. So don't buy a 10" because you think it's going to sound better then the 18" version simply because it's smaller.
  20. Their 35s, but really it just needs a lower lift as long as it clears the fender-wells. Have fun with the new truck Lantz.

Putting the funny hat back on?
  22. ssh replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Definitely cool, but many other options out there in that price range it seems. That's what nice about AZ (I guess), is there is tons of people with firearms. I'll be on a forum, and someone will be talking about meeting someone at a range so they can try out xyz, and I'll look at their loc, and go oh shit them fuckers in Tucson.
  23. okay i understand so basically you're sub is going to see a range of different amounts of watts. i gotcha. not just a constant 1500w alright Yes, the maximum output of the amp will be lower then it's rated 1500w because the impedance will be higher then 1ohm, and of course, music is dynamic.
