  1. Don't be worried about the 8ohm on the ex-anarchies, they have a higher sensitivity, you won't have any problems with not enough power. You don't need 8ohm tweeters either, if you find some you like and there 8ohm cool.
  2. That is true... Didn't think of that... I'm fcking weird though... I'd like it ... You would be running back and forth from the driver seat to the amps, and trying to remember what sounded better. But my ms8 isn't exactly on the fly either.
  3. Processing by onboard amplifier is going to be a pain for dialing everything in. I spent over 20hrs listening and fiddling to where I was pleased, and that was all in the driver seat by means of adjusting settings via an lcd.

I would buy parts that you're going to need when you do boost it first. A turbo won't help much if you don't have any traction. Ehh I wouldn't worry about traction at this point. But then again I could be full of shit.

Not a bad driver, but if you want similar performance for quite a bit less, but this. http://gr-research.c...165xwoofer.aspx I hadn't seen either of those, i'm not in need of woofers at all but they both seem like killer deals for the performance they're offering. I was just hoping to hear that they are worth a damn and not just using XBL on a shitty speaker to sell it. Definitely not bad. Price seems good too. Im pleased with them, but haven't heard very many sq setups to compare against.

Yeah and like on new years I was hanging out with friends, drunk, and felt normal for once. But I don't intend on drinking to solve my issues, especially at the age of 18/19.

I plan on trying it and if it works, take it for a while, then slowly take less and less, until hopefully I don't need it. As I know my anxiety is all mental.

I don't have high blood pressure, but at times I have anxiety for no good reason. Normally I have less if I've excerised that day, or if I've had a little bit to drink. Friend recently told me of kava root, that its suppose to help with sleep issues, and provides a slight buzz, to take the edge off so to speak. They sell it in capsules at any health food store, just make sure its only the root and nothing else. Perhaps im completely out there with my post, but maybe it'll help someone else reading.

That's a lot of Elk meat you are taking there. Any less and he can't feel it. I do NOT want to know how you know this. Im going to tell you anyways... It was a cold night in a dark dark forest, and.

Its a driver? I like mine, but I haven't played with many drivers either.
  12. How many rca outputs does your headunit have? For going active and crossing over, does it have 2 sets of rcas, or three? Your thoughts on crossing over the mids are correct (obviously you will be fiddling with the points and slopes though), but you still need to be able to get another "processed" signal for your 4" drivers your planning on using. Where are you planning on installing the ex-anarchies, doors, kicks? If doors, how much space do you have in terms of mounting depth and area on the door for the speaker? Depending on the space you have, you may want to consider using a larger midbass driver, and since your planning on doing a three way +sub (which may not be easiest route for going active the first time), you don't have to worry as much about how high the midbass driver needs to play. ------- I've read of people crossing over their ex-anarchies around 2500hz, in my situation that was too high. Currently I'm crossed around 100hz 18 db slope between subwoofer and ex-anarchies, and ~1900-2000hz 18 db slope between ex-anarchies and tweeters. I'm not saying these numbers are going to work for you, or well in your car, but just giving an example. I have a notebook filled with over a hundred combinations of slopes and XO points, and that's for a two-way setup. +sub (no brainer)

Valid points. Not that I'm interested, but I went to the mecp site just for kicks, they have practice tests for the final exam, they charge $15 for'em.

Have you just tried on ordering a drink? It works--sometimes.

Sounds like it. Whenever the weather is abnormal here, people freak out and halve their driving speed, which at times is an annoyance.

What a fucking drag. Reminds me of the videos people on Youtube where a car begins to drive on a snow covered road, loses traction, and slides into a parked car. Then five minutes another car comes and does the exact same thing. Even saw one with a city bus.

Hope it works, hopefully you won't have issues sitting down on your own balls.

I have now. Neither really did anything for me.Glad you gave Buckethead a chance. He is a freak, but is also a prodigy. I like his insturmentals alot.I just had a post all typed out with like 10 youtube links for you and hit the wrong key I guess. I will try again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjFQvGsZg4U Definitely have to be in the mood for this type of song, at least for me. Sometimes I hit the backspace button for no reason, then go ape shit cause I don't feel like retyping everything out. I've pretty much stopped growing in height, so I can probably start working out more and not "grow out of it" so to speak, but then again fitness, workout, and supplements aren't my forte. I was aready pushing a buck 80 at your age. I think I was 165 in middle school. From sophmore to senior year, my weight varied about 5lbs.

I'm getting tired of swapping music around on my Ipad, I wish I could hook it up to some hdd in the car. Found a 64gb version (gen1) for $400 on CL. hmm

Think there would be an audible difference from your current amp? Just got a bunch of tunes, time for listening. Do I think that it would be audibly louder? Maybe. 300watts to 800watts is almost triple power. Do I think that It would audibly have less distorion and clipping. YES! I am pushing the current amp to its limits and would like to get back some headroom if nothing else. I can shut down my current amp in about 15 minutes at full tilt. Luckly I only have a 20 minute drive to work. I will link you a few more tunes here in a minute, for your midbass quest. I didn't know you were running out of headroom and introducing unwanted awesomeness into the signal. Should be a nice upgrade. Sweet. I've been listening to a bunch of Primus and Buckethead lately. It's funny how Buckethead varies in genre from one song or album to another. I did find a sweet track demoing: Steve Strauss / Mr. Bones. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xc61ITqWh9I
