That looks super fun. Maybe they have some sort of deal going on. Like buy one get one free?!
  2. I had the cheapest most basic Alpine deck made. Yet it worked perfect for what I was running at the time. Now with a more involved setup, I'm still using a lower line Alpine, and it works well for my purposes. It all depends on what your trying to do. Using passive speakers? Need rca outputs for front speakers and subwoofer? Ipod capability? Bluetooth? aux?
  3. Drill holes at the end of cracks, then weld everything up. If you don't have access to a welder / can't fit it in there, maybe JB weld But I would definitely drill holes at the end of the cracks, this will stop it from spreading.
  4. I'd go for 64bit, I haven't ran into capability issues. Asus has this: http://www.asus.com/Eee/Eee_Pad/Eee_Slate_EP121/ 12" lcd Acer: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215081&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Tablet+PC+-+Tablets-_-Acer+America-_-34215081 10.2" lcd Viewsonic: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7294885&SRCCODE=GOOGLEBASE&cm_mmc_o=VRqCjC7BBTkwCjCECjCE This one can run either windows 7 home or android. 10" lcd I don't know much about any of them, but If I was to chose solely on the computer, I'd opt for Asus. Those are just a few that I found when googling "windows 7 tablet"
  5. He's not gonna, at least not right now.

That would be sweet for when I go hiking at night and the moon isn't out. Err most of the time I forget my flashlight any way.
  7. Also depends on deductible. If they ask if any of the equipment was bolted down or fastened to the vehicle in any way, say yes.
  8. That's so shitty, such a awful feeling. Check CL and see if you happen to come across your stuff for sale.

    Comical at times.
  10. Enclosure costs will depend on the size, weight, and time of ups shipping. One day shipping may be $100 and two weeks later it's $150.
  11. Well the only sure fire way is through trial and error, but like most of us, you don't want to build several boxes for testing and in the end, use one. Generally the larger the enclosure, the more efficient it becomes, but there are draw backs. You could always download winisd, plug in your drivers, and start messing with enclosure models. See how enclosure volume and tuning changes the frequency response. Or if your lucky, you might someone who has already done testing with your vehicle.

Man that lambo is sweet. If I had the chance to drive one of those I'd definitely end up on the 10 o'clock news.

That Lambo looks sweet! Unless he sold it, he had a pickup, it was white with 63k miles, vin number...
  14. ^I have been satisfied. I really dislike so many people posting in this thread (including myself), as it doesn't concern us. This is between the OP and DC Power, forum members coming in here spouting their opinion on what should happen doesn't help anyone. This thread is public for everyone to see, people can read it and think what they want, but they don't need to state their opinion on the matter. I think the OP would appreciate it if it stayed between him and DC (and for the public to view).

I wonder if people that wall their cars and fiberglass fifty speakers in their dash ever wake up one day and go "What the fuck did I do?" Daily drivers, not show cars.

Has some cargo space as well: You could fit an 18" in there, you know you've always wanted to... Actually I think I would cry if I saw a car that nice being flexed to hell.

I generally like black more, but this one looks pretty damn awesome:

Reminds me of the Koreans and Japanese. Can't design either, but copy of course they are skilled at. I'd rather have a company copy themselves than their competitors. So true. I don't care if the new 4door Porsche looks like the 911, it's still pretty sweet if you ask me.
  19. If your on a budget and can't afford to drop $300-400 on an amp and $200 on a battery, then use a smaller amp, they don't need 1000watts each to perform well.
  20. Installation is going to play a big part. Are you getting a custom enclosure made? Building one, or buying a prefab?

Shake shake shake, get's the air bubbles out and levels the surface. That heavy duty grinder would probably work well.

Sean, sounds like a fun project, you can use a wheel barrow as i did for my countertops, making sure to use buckets to measure all ingredients, including water for consistent mix. measuring everything will insure all batches are the same, it's easier to mix two medium batches versus one large one. for my tops i used quikrete 2000 (bag mix) with cheng design pigment, cheng pigment is formulated to work with the bag mix, Lowes sells the 2000 mix. i used rebar for outer and remesh for inner reinforcement. mold material was compressed fiber wood with one plastic face, joints are sealed and contoured with black silicone. rebar and remesh is wire tied in mold, suspended to stay in center of concrete thickness. shaking table will full mold will help concrete settle, tapping mold face with 2x4 will force air out , giving you a smooth face. you tube, concrete network, and cheng design have online demo's. That's what my uncle had to say.
  23. So your alternator is still supplying power, to what specifically and what not specifically, I don't know since I can't see under your hood and don't know what all is going on down there. But it's blatant that your batteries are toast. You could try throwing them on a charger, low amperage, high voltage, overnight. Might be able to bring them back, maybe not.
