My favorite track is track 50 from the dB Jams cd. It's 30 seconds of pure awesome 50 Hz sine wave Bah, that's terrible.

Daily setup and competing with specific material are a bit different.

I should add "That was a joke", For anyone reading the IHOP that's unfamiliar with my sarcasm.

Very cool. Sad what has to be done to be able to afford the procedure and product. And I just finished the video... If only everyone who needed help could be on her show.
  7. Seriously? Don't tell me that you are equating size of woofer to LFE. Either way, again it'll be a downgrade both in output and response. There is no replacement for displacement. But he isn't looking for high numbers on a mic he wants something to fit contours of his trunk in a show can and don't want same sound as his daily driver If it's a downgrade in both output (spl) and response (sq) then why do it? Just to have something different?

  10. I'd be interested in buying it but just curious about what kind of box it is. Is it ported? Also I imagine it's a great box, but what about it makes it really good? So yea I would definitely be interested in buying it, but I don't know what amp or subwoofer I should get. I'm still looking around an $500-$700 if possible. I think they made them in sealed and ported, so he'll have to say which. The ported ones are tuned to 33hz which is average tuning for people looking for the lows in rap music. It's a great box because it's built well. 3/4" MDF, double baffle for the speaker mount. Bracing inside. Here's an example of one:

Ugh, why does my subwoofer smell like it's burning. OH SHIT, IT'S BURNING. lawl lawl lawl
  12. Build your own, pay someone local to build one (see prior work), or have someone from the forum build one and "just deal with it" with the shipping cost. You'll be very happy with the end result, if done correctly of course.

  14. This one.. with the single 80A fuse recommendation? Its rated at 2000wrms PEAK. That 900wrms rating is most likely inflated too.. youll probably get around 800wrms if youre lucky I agree that the amp doesn't do anywhere near it's advertising. But how do you come to the conclusion that it does 800watts rms? Edit: I see how you calculated that. You did the amp fusing (80a) * 10 and got 800watts? Is this some trick you learned somewhere? I did 80Amps x 14.4volts x .7 for efficiency Assuming an amplifiers efficiency is well, an assumption. Fuse rating could be on the larger side of things for marketing, or it could be super super inefficient, either way, not a good way for calculating power. Technically a lot more amperage can pass through a fuse rated for xxx. Efficiency changes depending on the material being played, as frequency changes so does the impedance on the output side... I don't have any advice on "finding out if an amp really makes rated power", I guess you could use a dmm, clamp meter, a calculator, and some pen & paper, but why bother? It's always changing...

Tips & Tricks For Getting Mad Loud By: Stefan Hinote Always turn the gain all the way up to let your system wang. The following filters are for pussies: ssf, lpf. So if your not a pussy turn the lpf all the way up and ssf all the way down. Adjust any bass or subwoofer setting on HU to max. If your HU has a "loud" function, turn it on. If your enclosure is sealed, cut a big hole out to let the dbz escape. This one is very simple and often overlooked. When playing your system always have your windows rolled down, even if your in a neighborhood (You'll also get mad pussy this way). You'll get mad dbz right here, mad mad shit son. You can always find out how much an amplifier really makes by multiplying the fuse rating by 14.4v (This is a very good rule, a car audio secret if you will) Stay tuned for more tips and tricks. --------------- I should actually make something like the above, but written more legitimately with subtle hints of sarcasm for the readers with half a brain.
  19. It's processing. Wait. If your talking about the turbo, I think it's a Holset HX35 (according to his past videos). no the motor it self. Thanks for the info though. Now you know how much I know about auto. Edit: perhaps I'm correct this time, dohc zc?!?!?!?!

  21. If those are in fact sealed and or sealed, build a new box with a single chamber ported. You'll fall in love...or die from a heart attack.
