yup. thanks for the input damnit. now you're changing my mind. the morels are from amazon and i would assume them to be an authorized dealer. plus a warranty. but none of the support ia has on this board. but they're more expensive. so i'm conflicted Honestly what support would you need? Anything you do with one, your going to do with the other. Your not putting them in an enclosure and asking help for volume or tuning. Installed in doors or kickpods, which ever driver you get, this won't change. I guess you could burn either of them up, then it would come down to which company is going to help you out. As for the authorized dealer, I would assume amazon would be safe, but I don't see how you could have any guarantee, where as if you order the IA's you know they aren't knockoffs. --- I'm not saying don't get the IAs, but your in a tough spot, asking people what they think is completely subjective. Without any real background info on either drivers, you can't model them up in any way. Assuming mounting depth isn't a deciding factor, sensitive rating in relation to rms, then your going off the company, not the product per say.

Well there isn't any T/S specs for either drivers, at least none listed on manufacturer's site. How long has Morel been making speakers, specifically midrange, midbass, tweeters, etc? How long has IA been doing it? Your basically going off the manufacturer name in this case...

Good luck. It would be cool to say you made an Android app Even cooler if it actually did something, as opposed to "Hello World."
  7. What did the audio build consist of? Single 21" incriminator sub, two kicker ZX2500.1 amps.

Email account provided by the college!? Why I never...what will they think of next? Awesome thing if you have an edu email, you can register as a student on amazon, sign up for "prime", free for a year, then after a year it's like half the cost. 90% of anything ordered on amazon will have free two day shipping, or one day shipping for less then five bucks.

I have everything on my computer, its more of making a medium between using apps and formulas and a basic calculator on re,the12volt,etc. That it can help people make a better decision then using something very basic and broad, but don't know how to use winisd and so forth. At least that's the plan. Make an Android App Hmm, one thing that's cool about Android is a lot of stuff is open source and you don't have to buy some software, attain a license, seek approval, etc like apple. I think. Well currently I have it all written in php, Some would be easy to transfer, some not, I'll have to look more into java.

  16. All I'm reading is amplifier suggestions. How about, what have you had installed in the past? Location it was installed? Did you have those mb quart 6.5s in factory door panels? Have you treated your door panels with cld tiles, mlv, ccf, and sealed any holes? What size speakers can you fit in factory door panels? Are you willing to buy or make kick pods?

It's from winisd, I believe it's the percentage of mach. If assuming correctly and I got 0.04 from winisd, then 0.04*344.8 m/sec = 13.792 m/sec. Does that sound better? Yep. Again, I always just design around the m/s. 14 is conservative, but not overly so Good to know.
