I have other cars to sell. This one will be the beater that never leaves. The guy I got this from swapped in a 1.6 sohc engine for whatever reason, and when I drove it last it wasn't as slow as every other POS like it. I'll enjoy driving it and looking like a jackass with some beats.

Here's the shitbox in question. Flat tire and all. Don't be decieved, it runs and drives I just need to fix the passenger side front caliper and some other little odds and ends. I have been plagued with what to do with this thing for a while now and that's when a buddy and I came up with the idea for this build. And here's where the wall will be, directly behind the front seats. The rear is already stripped (behind all the shit and spare wheels/tires in there) so shouldn't be hard to seal up.

They are cheap as hell, and shitty as well...but, like you know, no replacement for cone displacement. I'm hoping for high 140s, but, who knows. Honestly I don't care what it meters as it'll be fun to do. The car in question was free, so I have no qualms about doing something in it out of the ordinary.

I'd rather have a speaker that isn't an odd dimension.

6x9's are junk.

Back speaker argument is just like has been said before. In a stock type setup all they do is provide rear fill/mid bass. In a properly setup stereo, there should be no speakers in the rear besides the subwoofers. And that's only because that's where they fit, in all honesty you can put a sub anywhere you damn well please as long as the enclosure is proper.

That's exactly the problem. When people give you advice, and explanation regarding said advice, you ignore it or simply refuse to believe it. Believe it or not but when someone says something you can take the initiative and go and research it yourself. There are plenty of resources on the net to do so.

Yeah good luck with that. All that ebay auction includes is a shitty turbo. You'll need two manifolds, cross over, waste gate, injectors, cold side piping, couplers, clamps, some way to control fueling once you increase injector sizing, larger fuel pump, etc. I also believe that engine is speed density, if not you'll need a bigger MAF most likely otherwise you risk pegging it and going lean. Figure in spending around 4-5k to do it...and THEN some. Looked at the auction some more: That turbo is far too small. It has a T3 exhaust housing with an A/R of .64. You'll literally be choking that engine. If you did get it to run and produce boost, there'd be so much backpressure on the exhaust side you'd detonate almost immediately and crack a ring land or piston.
