  1. Thanks mate.. was a old vid...... Meh.. .. i gotta a lil goal in mind. Most of it being reliable. Just play song after song, for 6 hours reliable, type shit. Meter, i hope comes in, but, ...... Im just gonna horse around. How is yours going bro? id love to hear your honest thoughts on what our doing also. Cheers man... Slow but going, subs shipped today probably gonna start wall next week. Lots to do but it shouldn't take too long
  2. Here is another car we just finished. 1961 Chevy BelAir, 350ci motor, 350 Turbo Trans (runs out great) bagged and will almost lay frame (its layed out in these pics) big 5gallon air tank, American racing wheels, 18's front 20's rear. This car will cruise at 70mph all day no issues. We took this to the Goodguys show this year and it draws a nice crowd. This is the look everyone wants. Honestly this thing walled off in the SPL lanes would be sick. 10.5k OBO
  3. Magnetic drill bits......
  4. Your gonna have a long wait brotha. Once you do get it switched expect about 30-45 days before you receive the subs. Great sub choice BTW, They will answer you just gotta be patient
  5. Last week if you don't mind not having parameters. We can leave that stuff to Crescendo. lol
  6. It will sound MUCH different when its sealed off from the rear.
  7. I would keep it to 14.5 or so in a daily driver, And adjust it up to 15.0 for comps.
  8. I heard these before and they sounded awesome in that particular car http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_27148_JL-Audio-C5-653.html
  9. Yeah, it's on here somewhere. I will try to post it when I'm not mobile
  10. Lots going on under hood, Big 3 and adding the second battery. All 2/0 Coleman Royal stage cable used. Sundown X18's D2's. Subs are huge and very impressive looking The leather beauty panels where also dyed to match the interior and subs wired to .5, I kinda like the two tone look Amps mounted under rear seats. Just needs a beauty cover Doors done, the black leather pods will be dyed to match in a couple days, (I ran out).. Tweeters installed also Thats pretty much it for now. Check list is the window needs fixed, second 2k, batteries installed and door pods dyed to match. The truck is loud, how loud not sure on the single 2k, probably 46-47's. Hoping for 50's with the second amp. The front stage is just clear and as loud as you could ask for. But all in all a good build for his first big setup.
  11. Here we go. Long day but its done for now. Got to dye the vinyl door pods, make a beauty panel to cover amps, add second amp and several more batteries. Its loud and sounds great, well when you hold the side window now. After the first song the window mold, sealant gave way and now the side window flexes out a inch when bass hits. Not sure what to do other than to call a window guy to come take it off and reseal... My brother got this truck cheap and the person before really trashed the carpet so i pulled it, pressure washed it, re dyed it grey and now it looks 10x better. Before After Now shes empty and getting wired Tweeter placement in corners and pods dyed to match as good as possible Sears had a big sale so I got him a g34 for under hood and me a couple g31's for my build CT sounds 125.4 (sounds great and making good power), Neo Pro 8's (these sound much better than the Crscendo 8"s BTW. My old box from my truck was used, which Im glad because my arm is still fucked and abig box build would have hurt. Also just glad someone could use it considering there is roughly 350-400 bucks in just material that was used for it. Its a big as a small fridge, lol
  12. I will post pics tonight, finishing up now
  13. Figured I would give y'all something to look at. This build is for my little brother in his 95 Burb. Head unit... pioneer deh7500had Amps... Two bc2k's on subs, CT sound 125.4 on mids and highs Subs... Two Sundown X18's Box.... 14cu tuned at 30hz... 207sq in of port Subs up port to side, cause I want to..... Front stage.... Sundown Neo-Pro 8's, Nendo FT1's on dash pillar pods. Electrical.... Big 3 with all 2/0, two Die Hard Platinums gr34's underHood Pics to follow.
  14. Just FYI both of those sets take very little power, the Sundown crossover will simply shut down the tweeters if you try to put any type of power to them. If loud is the goal I would look at something different.
  15. Really I would just paint, mdf is so smooth anyway
  16. Yall gonna resin and paint the inside?
  17. Been waiting for someone to do a build with those. They look like monster subs for sure
  18. Thats sorta my plan, run the Ethos loud and low till the SPL drivers come out. Then upgrade and see what kinda power I can run
  19. Impressive man, seriously! The fact that you did it with one less sub that the camaro is even more impressive.
  20. I like all the forums honestly. There is knowledgeable people on all the forums you just have to filter through more stupidity at the other ones.
  21. Your gonna have to step up your game. haha, I got nothing for that. Atleast not this year, maybe next year I will go bigger
  22. Looking good, get some bracing in there and she will be stout.
