Nothing PA is going to shake anything in the 60-125hz range. You will need good dedicated midbasses for that, not PA midranges. You will need a couple nice 8's in the kicks crossed from 60-200ish for this. You will be looking at doing a 4 way setup if trying this which isnt easy to achieve. You want hair tricks, car shaking midbass and everything else. Its not that simple. You seem like you would be better off with two 12's in a sealed setup and a good set of components and be done with it.

You just need to realize sub bass will end around 80hz. You need a good midbass setup if you want "it all" Even a good sealed setup wont sound ideal for what you want.
  3. Price a pipe for the S197 Mustangs. It's quite a bit more than 150. You also have to remember that over 50% of stang owners modify their vehicles. Not so much for the Cadillac crowd. Supply and demand here. I was your typical mustang owner that modded them my self. The off road X pipe on my 03 Saleen was 150 from UPR. Looks like they are 170 now. I know the nice SS products are higher but that was just an example. Hell a set of nice headers was only 500. But 1000 for a off road x pipe is crazy, IMO. I guess I understand why they do it but its just frustrating from a consumer point of view. It wont keep me from modding the car. I plan to make this wagon run 10's on pump gas and be my DD. I dont plan on turning wrenches my self any more so it looks like I will suck it up and bite the bullet.
  4. I dont understand why companies charge so much more just because the name brand of something. I use to call it Viper tax. Because my SRT10 and my buddies Viper was so high to mod. But damn if the Cadi crowd has to deal with the same shit. A axleback exhuast is 1200 bucks. Thats silly to me, its 2 mufflers and about 2 ft of pipe. A simple off road x pipe is 1000 bucks. On a mustang a off road x pipe is 150 dollars. I know the exotics have that issue and cost hella money to mod at all. But use to the great reason to buy American was how affordable the repairs or mods were. Thats not the case any more with the new cars. Rant over / As I open my wallet....... lol
  5. I cant stop watching this. LMAO
  6. Put the new wheels on the 71, now it's looking like I want. Gonna drop it another couple inches though. Now it's ready to work on the sounds. Fiber glassing pods time I guess. No sub, just a good full sounding 6.5 component set I think.
  7. Can't cancel the order?Well maybe but would be a pure dick move on my end. I already got a killer deal on them and the dude really helped me out and is shipping them Tuesday. Luckily I wanted together tires from discount here for warranty reasons so that will save me 100 on tires. They are offering nice mail in rebates this weekend.
  8. Finally have wheels ordered for my truck only to find out Discount tire could have saved me 150 bucks with a Labor Day weekend sale. Hate when that shit happens. It's always after I have paid for something, lol
  9. Love the V. I drove the 2 door coupe and the Sedan. But honestly the looks of the Wagon are so unique and just different I had to go that way. I felt no difference in the performance aspect even though the coupe claims faster times. Went with the auto because its a daily driver and should lay down faster 1/4 mile times especially once modded. Looks like a pulley, CAI, exhaust and tune will be the mods I try. That makes for a stout combo. For now even stock the car will move out for sure. Very happy with this purchase
  10. No audio unless its one 10 in cargo floor area. Would like all the space I can have
  11. Traded my dodge truck in. Yeah this is more fitting
  12. Them calculators suck. Just use inside measurements for determining internal space, fuck all that port wall thickness and bs. Then just subtract for sub and bracing.
  13. I plan on getting a Egg soon also. Everytime we move someone with one they say its the best thing they have bought (grill wise)
  14. Do you have an adjustable regulator? Is this one of the new style Elite series or the old style? I had a old style 270 with no adjustable regulator and my truck charged at 14.4 cold and 13.6-13.8 when hot just like the stock one which is normal. Mine went out completely as to why I upgraded to a Elite 370 with the adjustable regulator to set the voltage where I wanted.. Also the old style won't make do near as much at idle as the Elite series. I don't see the huge problem here?
  15. I'm fast281 on Corral and 03-s281 on SvtPerformance
  16. I pay 55 for 13ply Baltic for 60 x 60 sheets.
  17. If that 3in is part of the port wall also or the L portion then yes 22.25. If the port wall is straight with no L then the length is 19.25 and that 3in should not be counted.
  18. Cars look great! I love Mustangs and miss the last 3 I have had. 89 Saleen 347ci, 03 Saleen and a 03 Cobra. I miss the 89 the most. That car was awesome. My friend that bought it still has it but let the stock interior go to shit.
  19. I think it will fall off terribly below tuning, this is my opinion based off my taste and preference. Not sure why anyone would need 20+sq in of port and hoping it to sound good. Nice enclosure but the bandwidth will be small as hell
  20. I personally think you have too much port area now. Maybe even too much box and port. But this is my opinion. I would have done about 7.5cu with 100sqin of port. You need to make your mind up if your goal is SPL or something that sounds good. If you want both you need alot more cone area and power. One sub isn't gonna do it all.
  21. If you drove it or owned it you would know why. The Saginaw 3 speed was horrible, car was full of rust. All suspension needed redone, needed new cooling system, all glass needed replaced, and the electrical needed completely ripped out. Had original drum brakes all around, no power steering that was a bear to fight in that big ass car. I can find another one down the rode, just one alittle more refined. They guy wanter a 60's style rat rod and wanted it just like I did. But after having both and throwing money at things this truck fits me better. I actually way be working a angle at a 65 Biscayne that is badass and done but we'll see. Lowered it today about 3 inched all around. much better
  22. The Biscayne was just a absolute bitch to drive. It was a get it out for 30 minutes at a time type vehicle. Or just to cruise in. This truck will get driven a lot. http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g129/Heavylifter/1C7493B2-CE3F-4313-8C01-9F27E1899387-2039-000000D445F2F75C_zpscf4a901e.mp4
  23. Just had to get back in a old truck. Traded my 60 Biscayne for this well done 71 C10. It's a mild 355cu and a TH400 trans. All new interior, paint is only a couple years old. I was alittle unsure of the wheels but after having it a couple days and the reaction this truck gets I think I will just lower it more and leave it alone. I really like this 70's muscle look. Out with the old In with the new Needs some sounds although the cam sounds killer in this truck. Looks like a head unit, 4 channel and components are in order.
