Went rolling out to the cruise in last Friday. I was in the 67 long bed with the red 22in Steelies. This truck draws a crowd every time driven.

Air ride technologies is nice but way overpriced. For a cruiser I would contact Boris at Street Machinery. That's who will be doing my air ride kit. I won't be auto crossing so its all good

Unless your talking below 25 hz who cares, a good ported enclosure will smash any sealed setup in the 25-40hz range. If you listen to a lot of rock then go sealed but for lows a sealed setup just can't compete.

So the car a couple times on the way back after shutting off would have to be jump boxed to start again. Seems to have a larger newer alternator but the battery sucks and the only ground from battery is a 2 ga wire going to the alt bolt. That may be part of my problem. Gonna add a 2/0 run to the frame also since I have about 100ft of the shit in garage. lol Notice the goofy single ground

Home finally from my buddies shop with my 60 Biscayne. He has many toys Tucked away in garage lol When I got there he had mine and and a friend bought a 64 c10 truck. They were outside looking sharp Other noteable mentions. Haha And one more of mine tucking 20's

Too much power will kill a sub way before clipping a sub ran off small power will.

The quest will be to keep this one awhile. Right off the rip this one will get limo tint to show off the window and bubble glass lines and then air ride setup. Have good plans for the interior. My new ride, the 72 truck is gone tomorrow. Gonna do a nice little sound setup in this too. 60 Biscayne, 20in Ridler's, lowered, 350 and 3 speed in floor.

I would go for a single 15. That would help achieve the lows you want. A 12 hits the same lows but more cone area will do it louder. I love a 30hz tuning, seems to give a flat response if the correct port area and design is done. A lot of subs will achieve your goal. SSA is a great choice

Just over thinking it. Too much port the low notes will sound like ass, especially in a forward port where no loading will take place. From my experience with SP4's I will stand by my suggestions.

I would do 7.5cu with 100sqin of port, sub forward port up

A crew cab with the back seat out and only one sub is like a strip club, you like whats going on but in the end you just get bored with it. If you can only afford to do one really nice sub then instead do 3 or 4 decent subs and really get the experience. I would rather do a wall with Icons or SSD's than one SMD sub.
