That car is completely insane!! After being around comps for a few weeks I have seen what a 59 looks like and I can tell you I do not want to be sitting in it!! Impressive

Where to get custom enclosures?
If you were local I would hook you up, but with you being in NY I would look for someone local. There may be a few guys on here that are up that way. I also think maybe DC Creations would ship you one, but unsure. Look in the Vendor section here

doing 3 18's in a wall, decided to go big, amp suggestions
May tune this one alittle higher at 32, damn cant decide. Was also looking to see if I had room for a 4th order but I think a pure wall would be louder..... Gonna be getting wood tomorrow and maybe start this weekend. Guess I need to start a new build log, lol

Awaiting shipment
I HIGHLY doubt that. It has to be built

would sealed hits the lows im lookin for?
To focus on the lows you will want ported. Big output requires more space and cone area than you have the space for. Some trucks sound best with port on the side. Find another shop.

Gain setting "dilema" - Drop some knowledge on me
If the volume goes up to 62 like it does on my Pioneer then turn the volume up to 52. If not turn the volume up to 75%. Then put it on the hardest hitting song you have and slowly turn the gain knob up until you hear slight distortion then back it down till that is gone and there you go. This would even be better to do it with a test tone at say 45-50hz. If that seems too difficult just set the gain to 12 o'clock, with bass boost off and listen for any distortion. Just be smart and listen for any funny sounds, its not difficult to set the gain by ear.

Awaiting shipment
Every FI sub I have bought took right at 30 days to get. I hear shipping has sped up some. Hoping for 2.5 - 3 weeks. but either way its worth it.

Fi's new website
Shyt.. That run-on sentence mad it hard to see... Thanks for that Swift... I noticed the T/S there but didn't see that mixed in.... Lifesaver! Sorry it doesnt read that way on the site, but if you click on the actual sub listing the recommendations are at the bottom in a god layout. Confused me at first too with the quick look and took time for me to find it as well. Maybe if by clicking the picture or the subject matter about the sub it would pull up the same detail it would be easier for the shopper. But the site is a HUGE improvement as before.

doing 3 18's in a wall, decided to go big, amp suggestions
Because I ran a Q 15 and loved it, then stepped up to two Q 18's and loved those aswell. Even the day I ordered the Q's I wish I had stepped up and bought the SP4's. So I quickly sold those and bought what I wanted. With the 4in vc, low fs, high Xmax and big power handling I knew this is what I wanted. The Sp4's sound just as good as the Q line but doing in a MUCH stronger fashion. These subs are low end monsters and that was my goal. My truck does the same db at 28hz as it does at 40hz and will peak around 34, all within a 1db range

doing 3 18's in a wall, decided to go big, amp suggestions
I will, I doubt they would get here before then. If for some long shot reason they get here before then I will have the wall in. Whats nice is this will be built next week in my garage. When the sub arrives I will just swap it all over and add the beauty panel. I just need to go ahead and do more runs of 2/0 so Im ready for the extra amp when I buy one. Rear window seal is already going now and if I play it while its raining water comes in. Its pretty mean to the truck now.

After thinking about it two 5500's would be down right nasty I think.

doing 3 18's in a wall, decided to go big, amp suggestions
Well, as if two SP4 18's isnt big enough, lol After doing measurements I have enough room for 3, so I just ordered another one. So now I have time to build a new enclosure and not have any down time which is cool. I ordered another Dual 1ohm. So now becomes the question of amp and ohm load choice. After looking at my wiring options I think it will work perfect. For at least a couple months I need to run all three off this one Crescendo BC5500. Which I actually think will be ok for now and get loud. Three dual 1's will wire to a .67ohm load which I think that will be fine if I'm thinking correctly and hopefully put out close to 2000 watts per sub. My electrical is very stable now with the 370amp alt and 4 D3400's and I will add a couple D3100's too if need be. So my future options are.............................. * Add another BC5500 and wire to 1.5 ohm which will put a .75ohm load to each amp. Roughly 11k- 12k watts total (3500-4000 watts each ) This seems like the ideal and effective option. *Sell my 5500 and find a large amp that will do 9k at 1.5ohms? DC 12k maybe?? *Sell my 5500 and find a large 10k amp and run it at .67 ohm load daily? Either way this bitch is fixing to get loud!! I will be walling the truck with 19 cubes net tuned low at 30-31hz. Three subs across bottom and port across top. I have 60in of width so they will be straight and evenly spread across which should be unique. This box will also be all Baltic 13ply Birch. I am not too concerned with numbers but the truck does a 150 now and does it low. But I will be looking to do 152's on music in the 30hz range. Sounding very good is my main goal, Hopefully the truck will hold up. LOL

Box size recommendation
I would do 4.5cu tuned at 30hz. Quit worrying about the amp size when decided on how big to make the box. You said you want to play high 20's with authority. Tune low and make the box on the larger side of the recommended specs if you have the room. Be careful with a DD-1. Easy to mess your subs up if the amp puts more power than the subs can handle.

Do I have enough room?
Every car I have heard with sub firing up in a trunk sounded like ass. Two 12's will do better in the truck rear firing than one 15 firing up. What made you not like the SA12's? Probably was the install. T

2 Q's in a box (help)
Email FI directly to answer the differences that may or may not be with your sub versus new. Unless Shawn sees this thread. About the amps just make sure you can either strap 2 of the same amps or just buy a single amp to power both. 4cu will be ok for both 12's if that is after all displacement. My experience with the Q is that they like a enclosure on the larger side.

Power Runs and Big 3
Dont replace, just add to it. You mention replacing your stock 4 gauge. Just add a run of 1/0 to what you already have.

Swift's 2 18in FI SP4s in 07 F250 HD
Port on pass side facing up right now. I will be aiming for the same type response on the next build with 3 of them just more of it. . The new build looks like would have 270in port tuned at 31. But until then I am very happy the way she is

Swift's 2 18in FI SP4s in 07 F250 HD
Well got to do alittle more testing today. It has a flat response which I love! Today the truck did 149.7 at 35hz but did 149.4 at 30hz. I think if I had burped it at 30hz last weekend when it did a 150.4 I would have done a 150 at 30hz. This is all Meca style meter at the headrest. After hearing several vehicles over the last two weeks that meter higher than me just confirms that to the ear and the meter mean two different things. These Sp4's are just what I expected and sound amazing.
