  1. I have used that style before, they are hugh! Been thinking of trying these. They are not to eye appealing and of coarse they require more ring terminals.
  2. I have no pics and I suck at using sketch programs.
  3. Your no help!!!! JK There will be a build log!
  4. So the amp does have an issue? Glad you sorted out the problem.

    ^^ What he asked!!
  6. Not worried about #'s, just ground-pounder and hairtricks. You know something to play with! With #'s your allways trying to get the extra 10th.

Sounds like you are good to me, but what do I know?
  8. Yeah I was looking at those Ciare 8.50NdW as well myself, still am but I had to jump on these tweets. They seem to do what I want specs wise, as close to nice sounding horns/tweets as I can get and the quality is top notch. Which makes me want to get there mids as well, I know they will be sweet to have. Im still interested in those Sundown Neo-Pro 8''s so I wont make a purchase on some 8''s till Jacob releases some specs on his drivers to compare with the other's im interested in. I would be down for some of the Sundown mids, but the power rating confuses me. There is something about a mid that can handle 3-400 watts that puts a smile on my face.

Yes, it has very small balls in that comparision. CDT subs seem to be a nice build quality, will try them out in something eventually.

Don't know what the charge rate for the XS bats are but I do know with my son's Kinetiks, they are finicky as hell about how you charge them. I just wasn't prepared for the aggrevation those things have put me through without having one of their chargers. Guess I am just "AGM dumb"!!
  12. Sweet lookin' tweets!!! I was looking at some Ciare mids just recently. Their products seem nice but have had no experience with them.
  13. Got new vehicle, well new to me and I beleive this to be what I will use for my project. Wife extremely unhappy that I want to do this but that is the way it is. She'll live & I'll be Boomin' !! My goal in this setup is of course "LOUD" next is hairtricks and a daily ground-pounder. My concern is port size (to small or to large) Need input on ideas on what I am putting together. Vehicle: 2002 Isuzu Rodeo 3.2 V6 Subs: 4 SA15's Amps: 2 Sundown 2000D's Enclosure will be built as a wall using trim to seal it out to the B pillar. Will be using 3/4" MDF doubled to make all sides 1.5" thick. Calculations are using allowance for .7 woofer displacement and 1 for bracing and working around wheel wells. Enclosure demensions overall Total gross volume=25.27' Height: 36" Width: 45"< May have to be a little bit wider to accomodate the subs on face of wall with a 10" wide port. Length: 34.5" Port size: Port will be centered @ 330"2 Height: 33" Width: 10" Length: 30" My calculations give me a tuning of 34.9Hz Leaving a Net Volume of 14.59' about 3.65' per sub. This site shows a minimum of 276.87" needed compared to my 330 that I would be using. < This is my interest on the design!! What I am considering above would give me 22.6" per foot. < Good/Bad for what I described that I want in my goals?? Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Batteries are not my thing as of yet, I know if the bats are of a different reading they will equal out when hooked together. This is normal but if one is weaker than the other it hurts the stronger one. I also have heard most people charge bats way to quickly, will sometimes take up to 3 days on a slow charge to bring to full charge.
  15. Is that 3/4 or 1" birch??
  16. sefugi replied to emh9009's topic in Build Logs
What did you end up with on the bats?? Get them charged?
  17. Awesome as allways!! Love the integration into the factory kick panel!! Very clean and enhances the interior of the vehicle!

I guess at this point it's a "No Brainer" on which sub to use. Maybe we can use the one on the left for the doors of Grasshopper's 454 Truck!!! Different project, later date.
