I get it at a local apolstry(spelling) in town. Non-backed and very stretchy. Easy to use, probly cheating cause it covers so well.

Yeah not everybody can spend $5K on a system, but everybody can enjoy some tunes. No vids yet but I would like to get a few up cause this thing does hit really well for what it is. Post away!!

This is just a quick post on a S10 ext. cab that my son and I help a freind put together. He already had the subs (in a not so good box sealed). He had not done anything to help the electrical, and was very shy on amp power. So we did the Big 3, gave the boxes more air space, and he purchased a pair of affordable matching amps. Here are a few shots of the Big 3 electrical additions: By sefugi at 2011-02-26 By sefugi at 2011-02-26 By sefugi at 2011-02-26 By sefugi at 2011-02-26 By sefugi at 2011-02-26 Pic of the enclosure/amp rack. FlyBoy wanted the amps to mount between the subs at an angle, so we did our best. Sorry we don't have more pics, but were not planning a build log. Did want to share a little of what we do other than huge projects. By sefugi at 2011-02-26 Here are a few shots of everything installed. Turned out pretty well for minimal investment. Subs are the Sony Xplod 330 watt Power Acoustik Staxs Amps Now that this is up I'll do my best to get up a vid.
  10. That looks sic!!!
  11. Welcome to SSA!!!
  12. It's one of those things, my son's HU has been so-so from day one. So to make good on his project we are changing it out. Sefugi has been collecting some peices for the last few months, and will hopfully get to break the ice on it soon. Our family has been hosting 2 foreign exchange students this school year, so having a total of 4 teenagers in the household has put Daddy Sefugi's extra spending money in a pinch. Who you calling old!? That's very cool. Yeah it has been cool, one student from Duesseldorf Germany and the other from Campeche Mexico. We have had a great school year so far!!
  13. Thanks guys! Looking forward to my son being able to enjoy some music in his car without the HU triping out. Hell, me too!!

  15. long story Had Andrew start building me one for my jeep back in Nov. Then the beginning of this month I told him to hold off cause I'm getting a new car and the box likely wouldn't fit. Got a new car and the box dimensions fit, so he's going back to finishing it up. Only change is moving the aero ports around so they don't butt up against fenderwell or glass/hatch. No pictures, but specs are: 31 deep 34 wide 19.85 tall 7.6 cubes @ 33 Hz (3 6" psp aeroports) single baffle w/ flush mount. wooden dowel bracing, 45s in corners So it should be pretty cool Sounds great! Love seeing Andrews work. When is he gonna post up some pics of the enclosure coming together??
  16. We are pulling out the HU and the EQ. Here is a pic of what's coming out...Both items were not very good quality and it shows. By sefugi at 2011-02-25 This is what was delivered today, hoping to get it installed tomorrow. By sefugi at 2011-02-25
  17. I know your happy to have some XCONS, what's the enclosure plans?
  18. Nice score on the drill press!! Bat rack is sweet!!
  19. Didn't think MDF could look that good with a stain...Good Job!!
  20. I beleive you to be on the right track, complete the Big3 and recheck the voltage.
  21. Very clean bug! Nice install! How do you like the results?
  22. Really clean, blends in very well with the interior of your vehicle. Should be easy to find your vehicle at the show by the large group surrounding it!
