I could literally take my fingernail and drag it and it would just come off. I had started to strip the paint then stopped Bummer, big time. Havnt seen that happen before. The new black baskets are all like this, I believe. Or at least the last batch, my icon included. It doesn't bother me unless I had the driver out and was showing it to someone interested in an ssa product, I could talk about how great the product is, and they could look and say "ha, the paints chipping." All 3 Zcons we picked up have the same issue, it doesn't bother me a bit though.

You can ask if they will let you drive it around for an extended period. I drove mine for 1.5 days before going back and purchasing. This gives you much more time to evaluate lots of things. Ask for the Carfax?

Sounds pretty bad. Nothing got on my neck or head (neck protector, helmet), just on top of my chest protector, and wrist. I have to say it was one of those "okay here I go" and time seems to freeze. Got up and thought to myself "well shit that wasn't bad.", just bent the bars. You guys built a little more character. On my way to another ride right now. Lucky, I'm still without a ride, hopefully I'll pick something up in the next 2 weeks.

Brother, I feel your pain, I ran head first into a large cactus (unsure of species, very long spines) when I was about 7-8 riding my atc. I hit some really soft sand and slid right into it. I had spines in my face, neck, chest, arms, abdomen and thighs. It was fairly bad, nothing in eyes or anything major but my family had to take me to the small fire dept. in Lucerne and have one of those guys pull out the spines with pliers. One of my only vivid memories from my pre-10yeaar old childhood.

I tried to get some video of it but my cheap digital camera does not take very good video and the mic is horrible. I will try to get one today since he's coming by later. Two 15s in this car would be great. We're already thinking about the next setup in this one, also thinking about a pair of 15s, and toying with the idea of a trio of 12s.
