I don't mind the state champ being required to show up at state finals. I don't do SQL so no worries there. I run a small amp so luckily nothing in my setup or plans will have to be changed. Hoping for a big season in OK this year.- ZCON 15
Very nice price on a sweet ass enclosure.- 07 cobalt ss
Pretty unique for sure, good job!- 2 18" ZCON's on a Digital Designs M4a!!!

Will they make you a hairy beast?- MECA AZ Car/Audio Shows
That would work, I've been meaning to get it from you again anyway. I started using a different phone and lost a bunch of contacts, including yours.- MECA AZ Car/Audio Shows
Is the enclosure below the rear seat line, not including headrest? You should respond to the little pm at the bottom of the screen if you're not too busy.- 2 18" ZCON's on a Digital Designs M4a!!!
Congratulations to both of yuns! I'm hoping to be somewhere in that vicinity with similar power, I'll be happy with a 150 though in this enclosure, it's too small for the power I'm using. I've only had this setup on a meter once, it was an AudioControl, metered at the headrest and I don't have a clue how accurate it is. I managed a best of 147.x with a 38hz tone before my old Alpine would skip. I'm using a new Pioneer 8300 now with usb and it seems a bit louder to me, hopefully I can put up a respectable score now. We'll find out soon when I get a SPL-Lab meter and can do some real testing. Good job on the cutouts using only a jigsaw- MECA AZ Car/Audio Shows
Sweet, have you became a member yet? Have you decided on which class you want to run?- MECA AZ Car/Audio Shows
Does anyone have any info on the new rules? I noticed you fellas have 5 2012 season shows by mid January already posted, there are 0 on the calendar so far for my state- some questions on losing some weight
Are you doing anything that is physically demanding other than work? What kind of work do you do? Sounds like you're off to a good start already. Switching from soda to water is great and smaller portions helps a bunch for sure. What you are eating is more important though. What are you eating? You only expressed interest in losing weight, are you simply wanting to slim down a bit or looking to gain muscle mass and drop weight? Simply shedding 15-20 pounds is pretty easy to do in a few short weeks, losing 20 lbs. of fat while gaining several pounds of lean muscle mass will be more difficult and take longer to accomplish. to you for deciding to take action- Amp switch and bass knob
Looks nice, way to go. Now, let's see pics of it installed.- Loads of welding cable
It isn't necessary if it didn't come with a stud for grounding imo. So far, I haven't had a problem without by grounding rear batteries in the back only near the batteries. My voltage is generally the same or very close (within a few hundredths of a volt) whether you measure at the alt, underhood battery, rear batt/s, or the amp. I keep hearing about this but I've never actually tried it so I can't say it doesn't help but the alt is already grounded. The only time I would think it would be necessary is if the alternator is not mounted to the engine block. It might be necessary for extra alts mounted on a bracket made of non-conductive material. I think I will dig out some spare cable I have around here and try grounding the alternator itself. I will test and record results with the ground cable bolted up to different spots and see if we can get some different results. If I have a long enough length, I will do a negative run front to back and record the results from that as well. If anyone has any suggestions about where to ground the alt or any other simple wiring/voltage tests you can think of, let me know by tomorrow and I'll do my best to get test and record the results (which will be posted on soon after I get done performing the tests).I'm going to try at least a couple of different points on the engine and probably even one or two on the chassis. I will measure and record voltage at each point (alt, front batt, rear batt, amp). Now, let's hear some ideas/suggestions.- HIFONICS BRZ2400.1D fusing
I always try to keep them as close to the batteries as I can when running battery <-> battery and closer to the amp if running battery <-> amp. Hope this makes sense, I've just about had it, I'm going down....- HIFONICS BRZ2400.1D fusing
1/0 power and ground cable is fine. You should run a fuse on the power cable within ~18" or so of the amp. A 150 amp fuse should suffice.- Welcome to the IHoP
