  1. I hate you all... this is a computer section :'( not a AA meeting or group therapy session...
  2. are you a Intel person, or AMD, along with Nvidia or ATI? Post CPU Type, then GPU type Intel Quad Core Q9550S, EVGA GTX 285.
  3. ill send you a pm, just so you can ponder on how awesome my computer is, lol. jk but i think it is bad ass.
  4. I will be getting this exact sub. And every time I look at this I can see it in my car. I think I found a winner.
  5. I could be wrong but I think there only a few inches. Then what type of wire are ppl using just some standard wire?
  6. Good Choice, that computer is crap, also the only HD cards you want now a days if you plan on gaming is the 5000 series, or go for Nvidia (I recommend it ) Nice! im running a intel Quad Core Q9550S i plan on OCing it but i just dont trust my self, im also running a EVGA GTX285 OCed only by like 30Hz but still is a much better Experience.
  7. how long are the wires on the volt meters?
  8. Ok thank you. The one I would want to be in is street.
  9. it probably depends on experience but if you sent it into FI then probably not long.
  10. ok, so not to thread jack, but ive been told to set it with a DMM and with out one, basically all i need to do is take my sub, put on the 50 Hz tone and just turn it up until distortion. what does this "distortion" typically sound like? lol It can have a variety of sounds depending on the sub and box, just listen for anything changing in the tonality of the sub. But typically what I hear is a hollowing effect. Stand back a few feet and you can hear it better. Also, once the sub stops getting louder with increased volume knob turns, it's at its limit. turn it down. OK, THANK YOU!, and i hope this helped the original poster too ;P

i think it would be good! and if i could vote i would vote yes! LEGALIZE IT! Have you noticed that the feds are complaining about the jails/prisons becoming cramped? well if we legalized it they would open back up, i dont know the exact statistics but most arrests are for weed, selling or smoking. its retarded, weed is also on the same Schedule as Coke, Heroin, Meth and any other Hard ass drugs. my cousin smokes Medical and without it he would have the worst migraines, same with my neighbor. also like many have said it will allow us to get out of debt, especially Cali! i want my state to be debt free, so my school can get some F*cking money. if they dont legalize it they should at least lower it from Schedule 1 to Schedule 4 or 5.
  12. yeah. i doubt i will be doing another build but i might need it if i destroy my first wire.

  14. i could be wrong, but im pretty sure it is the amp, since you want to find out how much volt is going to the amp. where on the amp i dont remember.
  15. niiiice! thats alot of wires @_@ i dont think i could handle that much. and do you think 7 feet is overkill or no? im thinking in advance due to the fact that im wiring down to 1 Ohm so i think that will use a good portion.
  16. nice, im going with the SAZ-1000D, 12 guage wire 7 feet (just in case!) how about you?
  17. alright, im in San Diego, also ive seen things like division 1, A, B, Ect. what does that mean? im not sure what comps they were in.
  18. alright i think it is time for a n00b to ask some questions!!! #1 What are the divisions and what do they mean? #2 Are there any in SoCal? more questions to come later.... after answers...
  19. Ok. I just looked up the h/u and it is a 2V out put. So I just hook up a dmm and make it be 2V. Also what setting do you use on the dmm?
  20. i was just using those subs as a reference, i would be getting the 1000 and the BL, so if the H/U is a 40 watt pre-out, i just match the amp?
  21. alright, i thought so. thanks.
  22. ill probably get yelled at but w/e, so if i buy lets say the SAZ-1500D for one subwoofer, lets say the 12" FI BTL, the gain would mean nothing, i could just leave it alone and not worry about hurting the subwoofer? so basically gain would be used to match another amp to the SAZ?
  23. alright ill look into it. hmm. ok, ive pretty much said "Goodbye" to my budget lol. its an awesome case. its my first build too, im debating on if i should get another Graphics card or new MoBo, i think mine current one might be a little fried in some spots.... 14 gauge will work fine for subwoofers, 8 is over kill but people use it. Really it will come down to personal preference and if you have wiring laying around or how much your willing to spend. ok ill probably go with 12 since it is in between 14 and 8 lol. and for knu, i dont get their checkout. is the quantity the amount of feet?

anyone think SSA should make a App that lets you view the forum more quicker than the website? it sounds pointless since there is a mobile version of the site, but i think it would be nice, cause you could organize it better. like have the buttons on bottom be the forum thread sections, like mian, manufacture, off topic, IHoP...
  25. ohh ok. Well i guess i know what amp i want! oh and i just want to double check on the wiring! heres the Link to Knukonceptz and i need to know what speaker wire, i was told 12 but it seems like i should get 16, please help me clear this up.
