  7. my friend was considering on getting a fi 18"BTL for his system. he drive a 2003 chevy impala any suggestions on what's the smallest box recommended for an 18"BTl? thanks!
  8. ok thanks!
  9. i just wanted to know before i ordered, is the cooling option important to add to the 15"btl for a daily sub?
  10. lol lol ok enough said i guess ill go with 1 15" instead of 1 12" all my friends got 12s and they say they hit harder and have more punch to them over the 15s i never had an 15" sub but compared to the 12" the 15" have more cone surface area and more decibles so i guess the 15" wins over the 12" but everybody got there opions i guess!
  11. oh ok i was just thinking of going with just the 15" to save money thanks! 1 15"btl with good power is going to be loud. ok thats all i want is just to be loud because my trunk doesn't have enough air space for two 15's, so i was just gonna get 1 15 and call it a day or get 1 12 for right now and upgrade to another 1 later what do you think about that? you could do that but...i think you will be more than satisfied with a single BTL....plus the electrical will cost ya ok cool that makes good sense probaly the 15 over the 12? or vice versa, because i got room for either one of the subs in its correct box voulme
  12. what all kind of factors do you mean because whateva sub i get its gonna be in its required box volume? this week im upgrading my electrical system
  13. i sure can't wait to install

  17. ok i have my money all together to purchase an 15" BTL for my 1998 buick century, but i was wondering if i saved up some more money and went with 2 12 BTL's in a 6cft box would that be better than 1 15" BTL in an 5cft box for the size of my trunk? need help just want to be loud this summer any info helps thanks!!!
  18. i listen to all kinds of music mostly rap tho
  19. yea u right........ but i might as well jus go with the 15 btl in its right box would be a 5cft box then an 18 thats reccomended 5-8cft to get the nost bass possible you think that's kool? should i port my rear deck or just leave the 4 6x9's in?
  20. i want it to hit hard!
  21. yea u right........ but i might as well jus go with the 15 btl in its right box would be a 5cft box then an 18 thats reccomended 5-8cft to get the nost bass possible you think that's kool?
  22. x2, just cause your installer says it will fit doesnt mean it would fit and sound good. If I wanted to I could squeeze an 18" in my trunk but not worth it, compared to the space still available after the 15" was in there. Like I said the most bass is the box that fits and it is recommended for the driver, not the biggest sub you can fit in your car (you pick subs by enclosure room you have available and not the size of the sub). So go measure and get back to us, if your installer is wrong I would definitely be more worried about the installer then the equipment. that makes perfect sense you know how many herts i should get the box tuned to so it can hit the lows and the highs?
  23. yea you right im new to the forums i kept posting diff topics on the same related question my badd ppl but thanks for all you guys info yall helped me out alot ill post a pick of my woofer once i get it thanks again!!!!!
  24. ok he said and would be a 6.5cft double port box after displacements i think, or would a 15 btl in a 5cft box will perform better?
