well i have a set of alpine type r 6x9's that i used to use for the rear fill, ever since june when i got my k's the pressure would build inside the trunk and distort the hell out of type r's in the rear deck. so they have been sitting in my room for some time now and i was thinking about making a set of Infinite baffel kick panels for them. i was considering getting some crystal comp set, but i wanted to see what i could do with what i already have and save some money hopefully. i want Infinite baffel because i know they will sound good like that and because the trunk used to act like a giant box for them. so what do you guys think about this here idere? al

did you run the speaker wire on the same side of the car as the power wire? sometimes that creates noise (or so i have heard). are you listening to the radio, i remember my avionixx used tripath technology and messed with the radio signals. al

there is the kicker comp VR on ikesound. 75-77 bucks +shipping. they get sort of loud, but it depends alot on the install for it. i've heard them sound awesome and ive heard them sound like crap. can you find an SE for 100 shipped? if so tell me where. al

well my favorite amp powered my very old school first system. two kicker comp c12a's run by a RF punch 200ix. it was only rated at 400 watts bridged at 4 ohms, but i didn't bridge at 4 i bridged at 2, it was a tough little sucker. al

in time when money is abundant (thats right, i dont have money for wood) i will build a new box for my xxx. right now i dont like the way it sits in my car facing upward and you can barely see it because the box is so tall. so to remedy this i will have a more flat box with the sub inverted so there is no mounting depth and to give it more area and also to show off the sexyness of the sub and its entirety. al P.S. what should i tune it to, im thinking along the lines of 28, i want to show everyone a big sub isnt sloppy, maybe even lower.

man, this sub is completely awesome, it doesnt hit as hard as my k's did but that was in my install, soon i will be building a better box. the lows are insane, i love it when you can feel bass deep in your chest. al
