Daily amp for RE Audio XXX 12"
3.5 ft^3 for a single 12?

Difference between 15" and 12" sub
Yes, if your ssf isn't set correctly and you have the volume turned up too high, it will probably kill the sub.

Difference between 15" and 12" sub
It can play as low as you want it to, but a subsonic filter will help control your sub below box tuning.

FI BTL specs clarification
First of all, the kicker mono amps are not 1 ohm stable, which is why they rate their amps at 2 ohms. Second, if you did have 2 subs running off one amp, the power produced from that amp would be evenly distributed to each woofer. So in this case each btl would see approximately 1200 watts at 2 ohms (not taking into account impedance rise and other factors). If i were you, i wouldn't jump into this big of a system right away, maybe start smaller and learn more about what kind of things go into a system like this. Just my opinion though, not saying that it's law or anything.

Need opinions on custom box for FI BTL 12
It's probably not good to try and cram a btl in 1.75 cu ft. The btl is not the sub to use in this application since you can only use a ported box for them, and since you don't have the room you might have to downgrade and do a sealed 12 or a ported 10. And the tuning on the box is definitely on the low side at 26 hz, as fi reccommends 32 or 33 hz optimum.
