Dude if you are going to be running off your H/U then just get whatever. You will start to hear the difference in quality when you amp em.

dude those BL's are no joke with the right power. I got about 1800w going to mine. You will do em no justice under powering em.

Kinda like what Havasu said. I dont judge a peice of equipment before i use it in realworld applications. For the record, I own and use a ddm, and oscope. And I am lucky enough to have a good friend who is a tech geek and uses some techy analyzer to check my music. You are open to judge said equipment that is your prerogative, but i am one who has no issue trying it out to see if it works for what is should, and what i want it to do. The only time I play my system at its full extent is when I give a demo to someone who thinks I aint got shit. I dont compete in shows either im just one of those regular joes who enjoys car audio and are blessed to be able to afford to buy what i want. And im happy for you being one of those guys who can do it all with just your ears and eyes. As for me i have embraced technology and use it often. Now Havasu get those speakers so we can see them already

Answer the question I asked above and you will have the answer to the question you just asked me. Here it is again... Well the info i plan to glean is where my h/u, and amps have distortion. Then setup my system below that point. As for now all the music i use is clean signals. And if i get music that is dirty i dont play it in my ride. Now stop avoiding my question and let me ask you where your opinion comes from? Stop avoiding and just answer the question..

You don't get it. It isn't the device but HOW you will try to use it. It is completely pointless. If you think differently I have a very simple question for you. What information do you hope to glean from it and HOW will that be the same for all your CD's/mp3's etc. im curious as to your opinion on the dd-1. For me i plan to use it to find distortion, and setup my system without distortion. I plan to make it the same by using it on my cd and ipod output. Whats your explanation as why it wont work?

So who over at DC can update me on the status of my order? It is the 270XP for the Lexus RX that was ordered around the 8th of August. It was supposed to be "2 weeks" before I heard something and still nothing. I just want to get an update since i havent heard anything..

Well you can strap em and run them that way. But you need to make sure you sub wont be wired too low for the amp to handle. And you can also run each amp to each coil, but that would only work if you sub has 4 coils. We need to know the equipment to give you more input.
