  1. Use unusual fasteners. and lock nuts. I have my amp rack bolted to the frame of the car with 3" carriage bolts and lock nuts and lock washers, and then I have my amps bolted to that with torx socket head bolts with lock nuts and lock washers. It took me 2 1/2 hours and two people to hold the nuts while I tightened the bolts. but I know that nobody but me and a pit crew with the correct tools could get it out.
  2. x2 I want a wallpaper
  3. Any word on the mounting depth of these? I have a box built already for the Gen 2, wanna make sure it'll still fit. I've got 10.5 inches mounting depth for a 15", will it fit?
  4. What's the mounting depth?
  5. Thanks a bunch for the info, I really appreciate it
  6. Thanks for the reply, and the higher tuning is because of the subwoofer displacement right? I didn't realize it changed it so much. Maybe a tune closer to 31hz would get me closer to 33hz after sub displacement?
  7. bump, any confirmation of a good box design?
  8. Hi all. I'm about to order a btl 15 d2 with cooling, I heat ring, and high Xmax coil. I have a hifonics bxi2010d. I came up with this box design, but I want to make sure I haven't overlooked anything important. Will I get port noise or any other bad stuff? Its for the trunk of a 97 ford thunderbird. With the current design I have, the box would be lying with the port and the sub facing up toward the rear deck. I could change the dimensions slightly, any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. EDIT: link to image was broken
