yes I will def fire them in the same direction. fire them to the front of the car (as thats what friend has recommended for best SQ) can someone help me to work out the correct measurement/volume for the subs? (sealed)

Hi all, I'm designing a custom boot for my car, what is the best way to place 2 x 12" phase aliante subs in a boot? I was told the best place would be one on each side (one on left side and the other one on the other side). and I would love to do a fibreglass job something like this: but on my car would be 2 of them..so one on the left and the other on the the other side. what do you think? or is it better to do something like this (which one is better, sub firing the front of the car or the rear)?:
