and does anyone know a good site to order some ports from ?

ok so i listen to alot of hard rock like metlica and rap do you have any thoughts on the tuneing that would sound good for both ? i think mine is close to 32hz and it's good for both but havent heard other tunings do you suggest i keep it at 32 ?

1) it's more than loud lol but I'm just curious if dropping it to 30 would sacrifice allot of that loudness or by ear would i notice? 2) would going from 2-6" aero ports to 3-4" ports change the sound at all

hey guys i'm going to try a different stlye port than my slot port that ive always done and i'm wondering if anyone knows where to find some aero ports and whitch would sound better 2 6" ports or 3 4" ? its going to be for my 12" btl d2 daily. on my saz2000d amp box will be 2.5ft3 i'm looking for a low bass my current box is 32-33hz but my port area is too big and the sub tends to bottom out at high volume. and does anyone have any views if it would make a bigger difference going to a 30hz tuning ?

how bout canada would you ship to canada ?

the mounting depth of the bl 10" is 6.25 inches so your box would have to be 8" and the smallest high for that sub

if you have any more questions i can help somewhat with the sub get the d2 ohm and wire it to 1ohm to the amp that bl will love that amp and if in your price range get it fully loaded to help the power handling

oh and for port area you will want about 12-16 square inches of opening per cubic ft of box 33 is optimal tuning for that driver as recomended on thier site

cheapest way is to build it yourself not too hard there is lots of info on here about that to help my box only cost me 70$ all said and done but if not 200 isn't bad if its custom and for fi 30-33hz sounds wonderfull my box is 32-33hz and it blew me away for sound

it's not that they arnt reliable its a sub it does what its told people just think because they are built like a tank they can turn up thier amps and push it too hard and end up clipping the amp and distring the sub = death of a sub

id say go with the btl it surpassed all my expectations

never heard of the other brands but i have the 12" btl and it surpassed all of my expectations by a mile fi makes a truely amazing sub in my mind and ive heard the bl get really loud as well

hey i have never heard the dd's but my btl is by far the best/loudest/best sounding woofer i have heard i'n my car with what ive got they are absolutly amazing in my mind ive got 1 12" on a saz2000d in a 2.5 ft3 box tuned to 33hz

jeeze now i'm worried i just bought one for my car from db i hope it works ok and isn't a snafu. is there any good coments about them ?

all done drying and just mounting the amp you can see it in the top corner it's going to look awsome once the subs come it should be some time this week i will be putting them in so more pics to come

lol ive always used my pencil tourch to heat shrink my car lol but what ever works whats your alt put out now? bc with 2000w you will want at least a second battery b/c i have a saz2000d and the voltage drop cuts everything out so i got a 200amp alt comming soon
