I want something that I can hook my iPhone up to and have the capabilities of changing songs on hu not looking down at my phone and I want it to put out good sound also kinda would like my steerig wheel controls back

I want to upgrade my head-unit I currently have Jensen vm9312 (got a good deal on it from friend) but I want something better I want a head-unit that puts out good sound quality and offers adjustments. Don't want to spend a fortune but if it's necessary to spend a couple hundred I can save up I was thinking about the pioneer p8000bt any opinions or suggestions on a good headunit?

Ok thanks I will NOT be wiring it to the .5 ohm as questioned before want to keep this amp safe I was just wandering because I saw where kettle had wire his down to .5 ohms for his 4 DD1508's

So when I originally purchased my amp (1k5h 1ohm) it was the combo deal with my xcon d2 but I now will be running both xcons on it until I upgrade electrical and go bigger also got to save up the money My question is should I just wire it to 2 ohm load and have less watts per sub or wire it to .5 ohm and just keep an eye on it to make sure it don't over heat Don't want to ruin this amp it's been great and I would like to sell it in the future when I upgrade Thanks Logan

Yea those look good I was just wanting something extraordinary you know something custom rather than just a regualar box

sorry if i came off as having an attitude I dont in any way I was just curious as to what you guys thought I talked to a builder already and got a quote on a box built with birch wood kerfed port and flush mounted sub. Look guys I am a noob according to status but I know a little I know it will be heard I know there are a lot of factors to consider I was just curious on ur opinions likes dislikes what u think would be an interesting box something that would be for optimum sound and interesting to look at Kerfed port t port straight port single port dual port which directions to fire the sub which way for ports What would u guys do

No what I meant by that statement was there are times where people ask to hear it or want to compare their system and during events such as cruising/scraping the coast I would like to compare to other systems people have Why have a system if u can't even hear it

Ok so Im putting 2 12" xcons in the trunk of my grand prix gxp max dimensions are 35"W opens to 55"W 15"H 40"D. I want it ported what do you guys think would be the best box type of port which direction and so on I wont be building it but I also want the best and the builder Im using can do it. It is not a comp car however I play my music loud everyday and I want to be heard

Well I think Im settled I will save up for another xcon while having audibel customs build the box (flush subs kerfed port) Im excited to get this going needed a new project however have to get the funds now thats the hard part lol but IT WILL HAPPEN ASAP hope to post before after pics once started thanks to all for your help Logan

with my trunk dimensions do I have enough space for two xcons?

yea I agree but I want another sub maybe even another xcon I really like them any ideas?

My trunks dimensions are 55 in wide,Narrows at about 25 in deep, narrows to 35 in, 42 in deep and 15/16 in high. budget isnt really a factor looking for plans could take my time doing it

but as far as subs would that be an upgrade due to the cone area from what I have? I could save up for another box or sell my current if it sounds better the box is only $75 more he said it was professionally built and cost over $200
