how would i be able to go bigger if my car only take's 4 inch on the door's You fabricate things so it fits. That's what 99% of the forum does. Making stock into something completely new. ah so like making the holes bigger in the door's and such

hello everyone i was wondering if any of you may know of any good sites online that sell just the mid bass drivers in 4 " i have a nice pair of tweeters up front but i wanna change my door speakers that came with the car to some mid bass drivers. it seems the car came with component set speakers stock but who ever own the car before took them out and replace the door speakers with 2 way speakers and upgrade the tweeters and i would like something with a lil bass in my car so it wont be so flat.

yeah it should work fine the amp is 500 rms at 2 ohm so i don't see why it would not and being alpine that is true rms. to bring the sub down to 2 ohm just hook both + togeather on the sub and do the same with the - and take the + end of the sub and run it to the + part of the amp and do the same with the - of the same and that should bring it down to 2 ohm since it is a mono block you should only have 1 channel and it should auto bridged it for you

hello guys i was wondering would it be ok to run 1 sub that is 150 watts rms off a 4 channel amp and run front speakers in a car on the other 2 channels of the amp ?

how would you compare these two sub to 1 12 inch kicker l5 sub in spl ?

i am looking to spend no more then 200 on a sub i listen to rap and hip hop the most

you think i should go with 1 12 or 1 15.

Hello everyone got a problem here i am looking to go with a 1 sub setup not sure if i should go with a 12 or maybe a 15 and which one i should go with. Now i got some ideal's down in my head and need your option on which be best for what i want. Now the sub will be going in a 2001 kia sportage ex which is a small size suv so i have enough room to build be a box for either 1 15 or 1 12 and it will be going into a vented box just so you know. What i am looking for in a sub is i want a lot of spl but to i want good sq to. My options are either 1 kicker L5 / 1 Alpine type r / 1 AQ SDC2.5 / 1 re audio Sex Series. As fare as tuning goes i am not sure how low i should tune my box if this helps any i listen to more rap and hip hop.
