yeah not butcher the doors up. Then put the tweeters in the stock location or a lot people put the tweeters in the kick panels. Then you wouldn't have to put any holes in the doors. I see you did add to your original post. You only get as much as you put into something. Asking what kind of speakers you should get with no info isn't going to give you any good responses. You have alpines now. You are not going to gain much if anything at all if you stick with coaxials.

Drew knows his shit. I wouldn't be hesitant to take his advice. I have no experience with Maxima's and there trunk layout. But I would take two 15's in a optimal enclosure over a 21" thats squeezed in there. Do you have an amplifier already?

Can someone model a 12" S4 Dcon in an infinite baffle setup for me? Trunk space is ~14 cubic feet. My windows based CPU took a dump finally so no WINISD for a few days.

I agree with the cancellation. It looks good but I don't think it is setup for the best sound. This seems to be most install shops idea. Over the phone troubleshooting is always difficult. Good luck.
