  1. Your post is hard to follow, to jumbled together. Start with one or two runs and keep adding until you are satisfied. Trial and error is your friend.
  2. Damn those Ferrari's. I need to move...
  3. Either would be fine, if you can justify the extra cost then get the 1500
  4. Those soundsplinters are going to be awesome. I hope you post your work in a build log on this site.

  6. The Fi SSD is now 1000wrms. It will work perfectly for you. It depends on what size you would like to go with now.
  7. Nice work so far. Excited to see the rest!
  8. That is standard with German cars. Higher braking performance, higher brake dust. I know, I am just getting frustrated having to wash the damn wheels once a week while only driving 100 miles a week.
  9. MB needs to step up there brake game. Not the stopping part, but the damn brake dust.
  10. I agree with the above. Those Bravox components will be plenty enough. I love my Bravox 3-way set!
  11. All the subwoofers mentioned in this thread will do the job. Pick one and build the correct enclosure for the set and you will be happy. If you are not sure about box design, there are a few box designers on this website
  12. The 15s are brand new so it will take some time to pu them up. I think it's tuned to 32hz. Hopefully Aaron will see this and chime in.
  13. From my experience, yours are one of the exceptions Lance. Maxxsonics has gone down in quality when they discontinued those ground pounders.
  14. Let us know which way you go and make sure to take pictures when you start the build.
  15. Option 2. It will save you room and if you need to remove it, it is smaller and less weight. In the tech section on this website there are box designs for every SSA subwoofer. Just follow that one for the dual 12" Dcon enclosure. No need for seperate boxes.
  16. I am currently running my Dcon in a sealed enclosure and it sounds nice but they really shine in a ported enclosure though. I will probably go back to a ported enclosure soon. A sealed box would be easier to design/build for you. What are your musical tastes? Have you had a ported enclosure before? You could go either way since you already have two amplifiers. You could buy one Dcon and try the one ported idea and then if you wanted more power you could buy another and tried two sealed.

  18. (2) SSA Xcon 15's on a Sundown 3500D.
  19. Still on my phone but: two 12" dcons in a 4 cubic foot box would sound great. For ports use aeroports. You can find them at parts express. I would use two 4".
  20. So you have roughly 400wrms for a subwoofer and 2.65 cubic feet. I would purchase a SSA Dcon 12" subwoofer. They require 2.25 cubic feet ported. I like the center console idea. You will have to mess around with sub and port location to see which way you like. I have built one console box before and it was sub and port back. It performed to my liking. Use the amplifiers you have now and if they aren't enough, upgrade later. On my phone right now, I will add more later.
  21. Mainly vehicle/install dependent. What kind of vehicle do you have?
