I got these dimensions from this site under tech. I clicked enclosure designs and then click dcon enclosures and then I picks the 3.2 cuft one. These aré what my 2 bl's are gong into

Are these dimensions good for two bl 12's? 1.) 36x19 57/24 top 2.) 36x19 57/24 bottom 3.) 13x18 25/64” side 4.) 13x18 25/64” side 5.) 14 ½ 31 ¾ front 6.) 13x36 back 7.) 13 1/8 x 13 port 8.) 14 13/16 x13port 9.) 13 x 31 ¾ front 3.2cuft tuned to 30hz

I think it was just my gains were set too high. I knew my sub was clipping.

im honestly never going to the shop i went to to install my new subs and amp. The people dont no what the hell there doing. The guy said you can have the bast boost on. WTF????!!! No wonder why my sub blew. Im going to go atleast 3 or 4 weeks with no bass.

Couple days ago i purchased two bl 12's fully loaded. I also bought a aq2200d. Are these a good match. Would giving 1100watts rms to each sub be okay? Just if you guys wanted to no i have a 2010 altima, big 3, xs d1200 in the front, and my voltage does not drop below 13.5 when the subs are on. The box design is from tech support on this site. 3.2cuft tuned to 30hz. According to the site the bl's need to be in a box between 1.5-2.5 cuft, so im good on that. I currently have one bl12 on a sundown 1200d yea it blew out, never going back to the shop again. NOw for my second build i no what im doing. So anyway will giving 1100wrms to each bl be fine?

just check your voltage. If your voltage does not drop below 13 and just ignore the dimming lights. My voltage stays at 13.5 when the bass hits and my lights dim and i only have a sundown sae 1200d big 3, and an xs d1200

yea the 2 bl 12's will be the loudest, with that 2000watt rockford fosgate amp, but you may cause major electrical damage if you dont do any electrical upgrades. First upgrade the battery under the hood to a XS battery. Then check your voltage from there. If your voltage is good, then your fine. You also have to do the big 3 with all 0 gauge wire.

i dont have any other amps in my car. Yes, i have the big 3 done, well i have 0 gaage from the nagative terminal to the chastity of the car and the engone block to the chastity of the car also. I have no idea how to do it from the alternator to the battery, that step is hard.

finally fixed the problem. I installed the xs d1200 under the hood, i should of got a bigger one lol. I re tuned my amp. Now clock wise the gain is at 2 o clock. Subsonic is between 8 and 9. The frequncy is at 10, bass boost of course at 0. With my volume up i checked my voltage and it does not drop below 13.5 thanks to that d1200. When i checked the voltage with a volt meter the heat was on and the full light was on also, So thats prety good. Only thing thats bugging me is my lights still dim. Could it be my alternator since its a 90amp alternator.

Now that i replaced my fuses, 30 amp fuses btw, i have the gain um i really cant explain it so lets use a clock as an example. The gain is at 5 0clock, the subsonic is on 3, bass boost is 0, and that one other one i forgot but its on 1 0 clock. On my factory radio i have the bass at -4, fade is at 0, treble +5, and thats about it. It sounds amazing with that second skin. Since the gain is low i can turn it up and nothing will happen, but i just ordered an xs d1200 for under the hood, and hopefully that will fix the problem. I also checked all 3 wires, the ground, power, and remote wire, and everything is fine. I also need to get a dmm meter when i get the battery installed.

the fuses are 30amp fuses. I think i just have to put my gains down on my amp, and get that xs d1200 and i should be fine. Its funny how just yesterday i used damplifier my whole trunk and it sounded pretty damn good and clear and all of a sudden my fuse blows

any other advice? should i re tune my amp maybe set the gain lower?

i have all 0 gauge wiring. I have a 250amp fuse in front. planning on getting an xs 1600 soon.

i've had my sae 1200d for 5months now. Yesterday when i was bumpin it a fuse blew. I replaced the blown fuse and everything was working fine. Today when i was listening to it at low volume, well my volume goes up to 30 and i put it at 23-24, so anyway i played it at 15 and nothing happened. When i put my bass to +3 its usually on -3 the fuse blew again. How can i fiz this issue?? If this is a voltage problem im going to get an xs battery soon, money is tight right now so i had to choose between some second skin or the battery. And so i bought 20sqft of damplifier and it sounds GREAT, MAJOR difference, it cleared up the sound and theres no more rattle. But anyway what should i do about my amp problem?

right now i have a cheap 20 dollar line out converter. As you turn up the volume it doesent get any louder, and i know im not getting the full 1200watts. All my electrical is good, my voltage stays at 13v. Are you guys familiar with the jl audio clean sweep? I dont want to get a headunit. All i want is when i turn up my volume it gets louder and louder, right now if i turn it up it stops getting loud, it stops after a certain point. my volune is 30max and when i put it to 16 it doesent get louder??? my current equipment. 12bl fully loaded and sundown sae 1200d. all 0 gauge I have a 15btl and a sundown sax 2500d on order.

Im kind of on a budget now. My dad is going to KILLL me. I have to get another bl 12 thats $330 including shipping, and that 2500d is $525.. Man o Man.. Thats a total of $855 which isent that bad, but i still have to buy that xs d3100.. Should i wait on the battery?

yup, i think im just going to get another bl. The two amps im looking into is the aq2200d or that sundown 2500d

the thing that is really confusing is that Nick told me the new btls the 15 will be similar to 2bl's becuase the excursion on that btl is 28mm? Is that true? I honestly do not no what to get now.

well now i have just one bl12 and a sundown sae 1200d. My stock alternator is 90 amps. My voltage droped from 14volts to 12. When i did the big 3 it stayed at 13volts, and yes the 3100d will be my starting battery

My next build will consist of two 12bl's fully loaded and an AQ2200d. The box will be ported and built to specs. Now the only problem im going facing is that when running 2200WRMS, do you have to upgrade your alternator? or will you be fine with the xs 3100d? I will only play my system 3/4 of the way up for about 10min every day. Big 3 upgrade is already done.
