He stated yesterday in the SSA chat he has bass boost set to 50%, and if he turns it off then it's not loud. didn't you know bass boost is the only way to achieve ?

I couldnt kind one so i made one. do you think some re 8's could work? i see they're only 5 1/2" mounting depth. maybe i could build a box using 1/2 mdf on the bottom or something and make the box 6" tall in the front? hopefully that wouldn't hit the bottom of the seat. also i saw that RE makes a shallow mount 10 and 12. SL series i think. any thoughts on that sub? thanks alot for the help steve

i have an aq1200 in my 99 toyota and my electrical is still efficient enough. not sure if the electrical is similar enough btwn the two vehicles.

The E8's are great woofers, and I think doing 4 under the seat would provide all the output and accurate response he would need. beautifully said. :drink40: NVM read most of the post and found out it is a crew cab...my cousins is ext cab..srry..E8's are awesome but I would go SA-8's like nSMD... yeah i was totally wondering where you pulled that from. yeah it would be sealed, real slim and wide. i think it's a really good idea but i'm sure he'd like some other suggestions also. go 2 12 Fi SSD's sealed fiberglass bottom and trust me it would pound hard AF..... won't fit. depth is a mofo on this one.

here's a quick design for 4 e-8s. 50 wide, 16 deep, 4 tall in back, 6 tall in front @ 1.4 cubes VERY close, but just might work

you have no experience with this, or any idea what you're talking about. if mounting depth could work you could have like 4 of those bitches so i don't wanna hear it.

I think they are still too deep. if you buy a prefab from like subthump.com your pretty limited. they have squeezed pretty much all the space you can get into it. also where are you going to mount your amps? 4" and 9/16 deep. create a baffle and mount the subs closer to the front of the seat?

how about the new sundown E-8's not sure the depth, but they're hella cheap. do i hear 3 E-8's sealed?
