New Setup, Need Help!
So if i go with the 15" X is it a good sub that i can use everyday and can hit? Or should i just go for a ssd 18"? There will be an extreme difference btwn the two. lol 15" X will sound great, and keep your budget happy. 18" SSD will also sound great but will have more output. However it will exceed your budget for sure.

You'll have to go cheaper than SSD because even a 12" SSD will be around $250 and the amp will cost around the same. That's already $50 over your budget for just a sub and amp. If you still wanna go Fi I'd look into the 15" X. It will cost less than the SSD and require less power, therefore a cheaper amp.

18" wouldn't change head unit or amp price. You'll pay for the space and enclosure size however.

Help me Decide
F150 regular cab. I actually met Mark today nd he took a look at my car and I also talked to one of the box builders...Mark was kind of leaning towards the two twelves sealed and the box guy and my friend were leaning more towards the ported 12...so its tough to say and I am sure its hard to really say which will be louder...haha toughest decision of my life must have an easy life if this is your toughest decision... Forreal!

It sounds really good. Not very loud but the quality is great. If you plan on sticking with sealed get the high qts option. My buddy Logan kept that option standard because we're about to remove the center console and go ported

Buying 2-18" SSA Xcons Soon!
I'm thinking like Drew. That's gonna be a hell of a job getting 2 18's to fit in the trunk in the right size box. Sealed, possibly. Ported, no way. Please prove me wrong

Suspension-wise, i've had two large motorcycles in the back (although it did bottom out a couple times) weighing roughly 800 lbs and it was okay. All of the weight is in the front of the truck, it handles much better with something in the back. Like a box with a few subs?- Help a member out..
I noticed that the engine bay is very easy to work around and doesn't seem complicated whatsoever.- Help a member out..
I've heard the same! Definitely a major dealbreaker is the reliability.- Help a member out..
It would become my daily driver and a somewhat project vehicle. I don't need it to haul anything really, just looking to make it a unique street truck. Mainly do some cosmetic work, maybe exhaust and intake. This but not to that extreme. lol- Help a member out..
Thank you sir! Yeah they have all the records on it, etc. and it seems to be in great shape. Took a quick look and drive today and was pretty satisfied.- Help a member out..
That's the plan. Need more experienced insight however. lol From the way brandonf talked about his, this thing is a hardass. Hence the name 'Hardbody' lol- Help a member out..

Ok so I've been looking for a new vehicle lately and I came across an interesting find. 97 Nissan Hardbody Pickup Truck. 2 wheel drive, 4cyl 5 spd. Single cab. It's a one owner truck, looks and runs great. Seller is local (15 min from my house). They're asking $2900 which is too high but negotiable (I'm thinking $2000 tops). Only problem I have with the truck is the mileage, 200k I really want to make something nice out of it. Rims, lower/bags, possibly blowthrough Wanted to know your honest opinion. All the research I've done leads me to believe the truck is extremely reliable and cheap to fix. What do YOU think?- n00b
