  1. Sure you can, just keep the gain down
  2. I would run 2 10" SSDs, should give you double the power, and still be relatively stealthy.
  3. I thought subs "breaking in" was a myth
  4. I don't have access to an o-scope, but will prob set the gain with a DMM... I will be turning my gain all the way down but have the head unit all the way up and start ramping the gain up from there...sound good?
  5. could you explain what you mean when u say "smart about it"?
  6. can the SSDs take any more than 800rms or are they pretty accurately rated?
  7. I do plan on keeping the amp for a while. No plans on getting another SSD, but possibly plans in the future to upgrade to a BL if needed.. That's why I got the 1500d, just to leave myself some headroom... So dual 2 at 1ohm with gain all the way down would be fine on my stock electrical right? What's better for the amp? Running at Full RMS @2ohms or running below RMS @1ohm?
  8. I will have a stock car (130a alt., stock battery, big 3 done) and plan to run 1 15" SSD w/ BP power off a SAZ-1500D. Question is, do I buy the dual 1 ohm sub wired at 2 ohms, or get the dual 2 ohm sub wired at 1ohm? Sundown.com rates the 1500d @800rms at 2ohms... Which would be better? Wiring @ 2ohms would have less voltage drop correct? But wouldn't the amp be working harder ie. the gain would have to be much higher when running @ 2ohms? If I ran it @ 1ohm I could keep the gain really low so I'm thinking that this would be better for the amp. Any Thoughts?
  9. payment sent, trying to wait patiently

  11. email sent about the b-stock saz-1500d just wondering, is the 1-yr warranty through db-r or sundown?
  12. most of the songs I listed were at 10db at those peak frequencies
  13. These are just some songs ( at their lowest frequencies) from lowest to highest frequency (hz). 14. Lay off the supplements. Seriously, ive tried all of that crap, unless you aren't eating enough protein in your daily diet (which you should be), just hit the gym HARD and eat before AND after each workout. to build mass you will have to get someone to spot you, as you will need to lift heavy weights with less reps. Best upper body workout is the bench press, incline bench, pushups, bicep curls, hammercurls, tricep pull down, dumbell press... plenty more. Remember to always give your muscles a day or 2 to rest and rebuild before working out again
  15. What gauge size are the power supply connectors for the sax-1200d? thanks
  16. Hey Andrew, are we meeting up today??
  17. Are any other subwoofers (SSD, BL, Q) affected by this magnet issue?
  18. waiting for the black carpet to arrive, can't wait to get this thing rockin'
  19. Looks like I found my soultion! pics to come w/ my upcoming build, lets just say it will satisfy all my requirements
  20. Crap, my car has a factory in-dash cd-changer, none of those will work.... any other ideas?
  21. Is there any way to wire my iPod to my factory deck? It doesn't have an aux input, and I don't want to run it off a radio frequency due to shitty SQ. I plan on running an MTX re-q sound processor to run my subwoofer/amp, but otherwise I will have a stock 2003 Toyota Camry system. *Edit* Just read up on the MTX re-Q5, looks like it has an aux input...would this work for me? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_10834_MTX+Audio+reQ-5+-re-Q+%3Csup%3E5%3C-sup%3E-.html Any ideas would be appreciated, i'm stumped here Thanks!
  22. I have been thinking about this for some time as well. All else being equal, what are the advantages of a bigger subwoofer besides power handling?
