Daytona SBNs lil jons 18 15" CHAOS
According to BladeIce.com, the Chaos uses a 3" 4 layer aluminum voice coil. Might have changed since that was originally put up.

You would still want a spider on your PR as that is where most of the compliance comes from. There are some DIY PR tutorials out there, if it interests you.

That's about it for the moment. Exodus Audio will have some in the future, but none right now.

ya i think i can agree with that, i just want to kno why i am ALWAYS the bad guy no matter how the argument started lol. all i want to do is get a good nights sleep before i go to SBN and IM the bad guy...wtf You have a cock, therefore you are the bad guy in a womans point of view. End of story. They have a pussy, therefore they are the whiny psycho cunts in a man's point of view. Relativism at its finest.

Just shave it off, Sean. I need a hair cut, too. Maybe I'll just let it keep growing out, though....

I found this interesting

There are quite a few companies that use a 4" VC in car audio...mostly for SPL competition. The net result is typically higher packing density in the gap and more BL; usually the power handling is improved as well, but not always. Lots of different VC OD's used.- now thats Customer Service
I think for your application, a focus on drawing air in from above the top plate while keeping as much BL as possible (ie. no pole vent) might have been better. At least that is the general opinion of Dr. Klippel and a few others. But I shouldn't say anything since it could be exactly what they were looking for.- I found this interesting
I don't think quadrophonic sound is of quite as much use in a vehicle, although I do feel that employing the Haas effect can do wonders for your midbass output and "ambience". From what I posted on CA.com...- Mayhem 18's w/ pic
That logo looks sooo much better than the ones on the other lines (except for the Havoc). You know you want to give us a motor shot.- Welcome to the IHoP
Monday, Monday, Monday. Somedays I just love reading what LB has to say.- Welcome to the IHoP
That test was surprisingly not awful. Probably should have studied more than an hour or two, but still relatively satisfied.- Time for a change
The use of SQ or SPL as an adjective to quantify sound is pointless as the adjectives themselves are not quantifiable or at least not well defined.- Welcome to the IHoP
Beethoven. Ludwig was her third child (Johann's second), not the eighth. Also, the infant mortality rates in the 18th century were significantly higher than they are now.- Welcome to the IHoP

I have the weirdest luck with this Dell. It's really not exceptional but it lives up to heavy use pretty much 24/7 for a couple years now. No battery problems, no hard drive problems, nothing....- Welcome to the IHoP
I don't even want to hear loaded. Tell me what features it has and I'll decide if it is fully loaded enough for me.- New mids?
The Nextel cone still exhibits some breakup and isn't quite as detailed as the magnesium cone Excels (most noticeably in the lower midrange) but the improved top end makes them a very worthy candidate for 2 way use.- Welcome to the IHoP
Or try to wait for a deal at PE on horn bodies and compression drivers. Then start working on pro audio cabinets to sell.- Welcome to the IHoP
Sell them if your bid is low enough.- Welcome to the IHoP
