alright well what do you think about the speakers

you guys keep moving stuff around eventually it all comes down to if your here you have Fi or plan on getting on it or your a fan so i dont see the diference

a ported box with the subs facing up ported back..my friend is gona built it for me..dont know exactly what he intends on doing..give me some feedback so i can be on top of him

so is it a good idea to use damp on the doors and damp pro in the back where theirs more vibration

that sounds good..but im going to have two running off a 2500 so aprox 1250 going in to each one..do i really need an outside source or can the one on the amp be suficient

i got some damp and damp pro a little of both prob gona use the damp pro in the trunk and the damp on the doors ..might as well spend the money on the good stuff ..dont wana be stuck with bs...anyway how does damp compare to damp pro and is it a good idea to use damp on the doors and damp pro in the back

in what scenario is it better to hook a speaker out of phase..?? why would you wana do that makes no sense

def going with havoc and plus it can go in a sealed box if ever i get tired of the ported...is it just as good in both ?

and is that ccf foam and vinyl stuff necessary on newer cars

has anyone ever used rattle trap from flatmat is it anygood and if so how does it compare to dynamat and damplifier

yea thats what im saying..i have it like the top one which seems normal but every diagram shows the botom one...so its the same either way?

am i crazy or is that what the diagram is showing one voice coil is on top the other on the bottom right???

yea i shouda used that instead of a drill batt..think i ***** anything up by doing that

yea pos on one coil to pos on the other one.. same for neg..and the pos and neg from the same coil to the amp same for both subs...thats how i had it..now i have it how it shows on the diagram taking a neg from one coil and the pos from the other coil

well i had it hooked up my way first and now i have it how it is on the diagram..it sounds pretty much the same..

normal meaning pos and neg on one coil to pos and neg on the other coil and then pos and neg from one coil to the amp

i know what it says on there i was just wondering what were the benefits of hooking them up paralel as opose to normal

i was trying to figure out how to find out which wire is positive or negative on the door wiring...i changed the speaker on the door and replaced the factory but as i took it out i didnt know which was positive or negative since i didnt hook up the HU ...my friend told me take a batery from a drill and hook it up to the speaker while it was hooked up and if it poped up it was right if it popped down it wasnt..but how could i know which was pos or neg on the drill bat...anyways could i have messed anything up i was hearing weird sounds while i was doing it coming from the back sorry for the book guys lol
