This fiberglassing stuff is hard a hell and I haven't even got to the actual fiberglassing.

Got metered again today and here are the results 33hz tone at the headrest with drivers door open 33hz tone at the headrest both with drivers side front door and rear door open and trunk open 33hz tone at the headrest both drivers side front door and rear door open & passenger side door braced and trunk open 33hz tone on the dash with both drivers side front door and rear door open and trunk open 33hz tone sealed on the dash 33hz tone in the kick with both drivers side front door and rear door open and trunk open & passenger side door braced and trunk open On music at the head rest both drivers side front door and rear door open and trunk open music at the head rest with both drivers side front door and rear door open and trunk open

I got a Nook Hd+ so now I'm going to start my first fiberglass project. Hopefully it won't be to bad

hope no one laughs at me but here is what i did. i just cut some peal and seal and just built it up, water doesn't get in either. i tried foam but didn't help.

now i have to raise up the sax, it's about .25" shorter then the saz and get some carpet

update:the alternator didn't fit, found out it was made for a civic, but I did get my other amp installed. I will finish up the cover panel tomorrow now im going to save up for another alternator and box

Let me rephrase my last comment, It was effective in my install and I would buy again or recommend to somebody else. Also the top constraint layer doesn't cut your hand up either. The adhesive is strong and from my understanding it is thickest on the market at 87 and 90mils. I'm a noob and just trying to help.

The dc is louder to the ear and on the meter by 2db, measured at the headrest both at 37hz. The most notable difference is the higher bass notes like around 45hz & up, it's like more of a punch in the chest and it's hard for me to explain, but xcon sounded deeper on the lower bass notes like around like 30hz and below. There really aren't any cons, just that the xcon wasn't the type of sub I wanted, I'm more of the spl type.

I want a Zcon but I just like the look of the inverted dust cap and Aaron said the zcon can't use them, so hopefully if ssa comes out with another sub it will have it.
