I've had alpines, good for the price and the rated RMS they can take imo. Just my 2 cents I just got my Q and it's a really nice sub, I wouldn't spend that much money on a "SQ" sub like the W7.

I'm going to do my box at 8.8 Cubes with dicplacement I'm looking close to 8 cubes. 8.5 with the sub and I'm thinking about the port. Should I do a 4x18? or a 5x18 tuned to 28hz.. Thanks guys
