  1. Did you double check your wiring?
  2. The "issue" you're describing is much more dependent on the box than the driver. It sounds like you're decided on the 187. Now that you've decided focus on a box design that will accomplish your goals.
  3. Unless I find the fountain of youth
  4. Getting closer to that sweet sweet senior discount Sean. That's what you guys look forward to right?
  5. Hopefully you land it Good luck
  6. All my friends are turning 21 which makes it even worse.
  7. If I was 21 I'd be jealous
  8. Vacation?
  9. I'm begging him to work it into his feedback. 'hey thanks for the bonus porn'
  10. First thing I asked, but didn't get a serious answer.
  11. There are several topics on here asking this question. Crossover occurs before amplification in active and it occurs after amplification in passive. For active you control your crossover points electronically rather than with the passive crossovers that come with component sets.
  12. A friend just received an xbox he bought from fleabay. There was a porno in the cd tray. LOL
  13. There's really nothing wrong with the brands you listed. I think M5 mentioned the law of diminishing returns in this thread. Considering that, listening to some components in store and buying what you like isn't a bad way to go. Use the money saved towards the install and I think you will be happy with the results. If you really want a nice front stage you would already have the foundation for a nice install (deadening, experience, aiming etc) if you went this route. This way later when you're ready for something nicer you can learn to run active.
  14. Most tweeters can get pretty loud off much lower than 25W. You shouldn't be sending them that much power in the first place so it's not a concern.
  15. I wish I could sleep with my eyes open
  16. That sounds really shady to me. I doubt that they would give you the serial even if they were legitimate, but even so the guy could barely speak english. I wouldn't want to risk wasting money on a fake set if it were me.
  17. Way less than 0.8% Now I want to go through my lab book and see what the number was, lol
  18. The fall semester starts in 2 weeks
  19. Just turned in my last assignment for my summer class
  20. Looks good Mark. I went on the site and checked it out; it's really clean
  21. As stated you can find better equipment than what you posted for less. What's the larges box you are able/willing to put in your trunk and what are your goals for the system?
  22. Maybe something like this would help? (joking)
  23. In O chem we were taught that H20 molecules accounted for something like 95% of the greenhouse effect and the CO2 from cars was something like 0.8%. Considering that, green vehicles are pretty pointless. The only reason I can see to switch from fossil fuels is availability.
  24. You got that right, they are no where near as good as the British top gear which is a GREAT show to watch. It seems to be coming along. If it keeps improving like this I'll keep watching
  25. Too bad he called dibs Sean
