I had the SDCs, didn't really care for the sound of them. The weren't bottom heavy at all and lacked that warm feeling I like. They did get loud pretty loud though.

A lot of people, including myself, would be very interested in a Gen 2 vs N2 comparison.

I'm using the X to find my resonant frequency, then after that I'll use it for home theater. And yes I believe these are the first user posted pics of the N2s.

The X is a 10, the BTLs are 12s. I haven't put any power to them, I just got home at 9 and unboxed them. I might do some free air to one tomorrow only off of about 900 watts though. The suspension on the BTL is super stiff, you have to push very hard on the cone just to get it to move a centimeter. The build quality is fantastic, clearly American made. I put a bag of screws up against the neo, well when I try to pull the bag of screws off, the plastic came off but all the screws still stuck on and it took some effort to get them off. The dustcap on the BTL has a flat finish and I like it much more than the X. On the bottom of the motors it has a neat little acrylic plate with Fi written all over it, you can see what I'm talking about on their site. So far so good just from unboxing, I can't wait to get the AQ 3500.1.

Mine are coming today, and I'm sicker than a dog and I have to work an 8 hour shift.. at mcds. Well, all will be well when the BTLs are inside the house and I'm able to take a nap! Oh... and pics of course.

It's them damn coons at UPS wanting my BTLs, I just know it.

I ordered mine 10/28/10 as well. Does your tracking say Origin Scan at Las Vegas, or Departure Scan at Las Vegas? My subs have been sitting there for a few days now, I'm getting a little frustrated.

X2, a aq 1200 d would be perfect for a bl Only $250? I see videos on youtube and everyone has these.. I think I just found my amp.. I have the AQ 1200D myself, solid little amp, easy on the current draw too. I'm running it off a stock alt and a duralast 24 battery.

My Black Fiday X came in today, and my BTLs are on the way!! Ahh the X is such a tease, that's a beast of a little woofer, it's built so nicely!!

4 days after they were released, as in 4 days after they were put up on the site, which would've been back in October. When Scott called me he said mine would be shipped out today. I just thought about them being in the PST, so it's only 7:30 p.m. there so UPS might still have to update the info, wish me luck!
