Installing Component Set
Well I decided to keep the tweeters in the back next to the mids, but I don't know how to mount them? Just drill into the door panel?

Installing Component Set
That's the crossover. And no, it doesn't. But you will need to have the ability to set the crossover points for the 6.5 on either your amp or HU. Why don't you want to use it? It's not that I don't want to use it, just that if my tweeters are in my dash and my 6.5's are in my rear doors I don't think I could get the wires ran correctly.

Installing Component Set
Before I start playing around with it, does the 6.5" speaker have to be connected to the component part or just the tweeter? (the component part = the rectangular piece)

Installing Component Set
The old tweeter spot was up on the dash, is that what you mean?

The 6x9's won't fit in the back door, But good idea with the double sided tape, I'll go tamper with it for a while!

Installing Component Set
Hey guys, this is the very start of my first diy build, I've never installed a speaker in my life before today! But- I got the co-axial 6x9's into my doors this morning no problem! However, now I have a problem. I have a component set that I was going to run the 6.5's in the back door of my Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I was going to run the tweeters up front in the dash. It just so happens the tweets don't fit in the dash. Should I try mounting them on the back doors somehow? Or a pillar? Here are a few pictures. Any ideas on where to place the tweeters would be much appreciated, I'm fine with not having them next to the 6.5's. I have never worked with fiberglass, and I don't plan on it, at least not for this build. lol Thank you in advance! By the way it's just a simple passive set-up.

SA12 VS VVX12 VS LI12
Fi would help support your country too! I've never heard the X but Watts09 has great experience with the X's, I'd take his words of advice if you like them.

I don't know what to do.
Def stay away from the drugs, they don't do anything positive for you as I'm sure you know! But I agree you should check into better paying jobs, not to hate on McD's but there are better options out there! Listen to some Tupac, when I'm down his lyrics always get me cheered up!

SA12 VS VVX12 VS LI12
IA has great customer service! I called them over the weekend (not realizing they were closed) and just decided I'd call back Monday, but first thing in the morning they called me! I was impressed to say the least, and I've read that their subs truly pound.

My new hooptie, 1980 CoupeDeville. Bumping on a budget.
I have really enjoyed getting out and riding the little bit that I've manged to. I did have a little problem this weekend with it. I lowered the rear a bit more and managed to puncture the gas tank dragging the ass end. Oh well at least I didn't blow myself up.lol. Oh Crap!! I guess there is always a bright side to every situation. That's what I was thinking, how optimistic lol, keepin' it real.

Pressure on Electrical System
Well I sold my pretty red car in my avatar. :L I bought a nice Jeep Cherokee though and I plan on getting a BTL in the near future. For the sake of my electrical, would there be less voltage drop if I ran a SAZ 3,000 at 2 ohms compared to a SAZ 1,500 at 1 ohm? I don't mind the extra $175 or so if it won't take as much of a toll on my electrical. I have a stock alternator and will only be getting 1 XS or Kinetic battery (as big of one that I can fit) that will go under the hood. Thanks in advance.

Gotta get that Boom Boom Boom.

Looks like a nice HU! I say go for the IA! That way you will have something to look forward to in your build. (adding the amp to them in the future)
